Early Morning [0800 - 0900] — All Troubleshooters Report for Duty
No Special Troubleshooters have been selected for a mission this morning.
Morning & Afternoon [0900 - 1600] — Service Firm Positions
All Troubleshooters not assigned a mission should report to their Service Firm for their daily duties, unless specifically assigned a different shift.
Free Enterprise is pushing a new, adjusted street form of No Fear (Dynomorphin). The original pharmaceutical is meant for those in Ultraviolet ranks, but this form is much dirtier, cheaper and more addictive. In order to get people hooked, they've put a healthy dose in the wagon wheel's ORANGE and RED level coffee-like supplies. The drug causes a very bullet proof feeling of euphoria. Side effects include paranoia, hallucinations, increased sociability, increased sex drive, panic attacks, excited delirium - extreme agitation and violence, and the temporary loss of feeling in nerve endings (inability to feel pain). A standard dose lasts four hours. Withdrawal symptoms include nosebleeds, sweating, nausea, dehydration and blinding migraines. For those that want more of the drug, Free Enterprise will make it easily accessible.
At 1200, a squad of Grey Ops will arrive at Medical Services to escort Caitlin Snow away for suspected treason. Anyone asking for additional information will be told it's classified and warned not to continue asking questions. Approximately fifteen minutes later another squad of Grey Ops will arrive at Internal Security to lead Vision away. Anyone asking for additional information will be given the same party line.
At 1400 today, Jack Harkness will be summoned by Mind Control to the Production offices on the twenty fifth floor. There he will be offered a position in Media Production where he will assist with the Teela O'Malley show. This position will come with a clearance level promotion of ORANGE, since the talk show star doesn't associate with anyone of lower clearance level. Jack will be responsible for ramping up the excitement levels of the live audience and the personal entertainment of the star.
Evening [1600 - 2200] — Citizen Improvement
All Alpha citizens are encouraged to better themselves through Alpha’s wide variety of educational, entertainment and cultural opportunities offered each evening. Attending these sanctioned events are not mandatory, but is highly encouraged by The Computer. Citizens choosing not to take advantage of these opportunities, have a growing number of other options available to them in how to spend their hard earned credits and free time.
Tonight’s event will be at 1900 in Meeting Room G, Wagon Wheel Floor 24 and will be hosted by the Alpha Smiling Club. Join us tonight for refreshments and tips on faking it until you make it!
Alpha Curfew Restrictions
All Alpha citizens should be in their quarters within the Wagon Wheel by 2200, unless they’ve been given permission from a GREEN or higher clearance level citizen. Sleeping Aid gas is dispelled each night in the Wagon Wheel at 2200 to assist citizens in getting a productive sleeping period.
Confession Booths
There are hundreds of confession booths available around Alpha Complex if a citizen would like to communicate directly with the computer. Please use these confession booths to report mission statuses, report treason or terrorist acts, unregistered mutants, confess your trespasses against Alpha Complex, request propaganda or speak with Your Friend, The Computer, at any time.

After a day of being indestructible in spite of the way he looks like he's been run over by an eighteen-wheeler, Adam is feeling pretty good. It's his idea to grab one of the vehicles from his work in motorized transport and just go... go until they can't go anymore, see how far they can go. It seems like the best idea.
Of course, once he's used his clearance badge to get in, once they've commandeered a vehicle, he hands the wheel over to Ronan. Ronan loves driving. Adam just enjoys being along for the ride. He points straight ahead. "Through that bay door should get us out of here."

What she doesn't expect, when she finally does find them, is all the chaos they're causing. Oh, Blue expects nothing less of Ronan Lynch. But Adam's always been more cautious. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she can imagine Gansey disapproving of all of this. But Gansey isn't here right now and...
"Hey, can I try that?" Blue shouts out after one of them successfully blows up a nearby camera.

Early afternoon
He's looking much better; most of the scarring is minimal and while his skin is still a little discolored from it on his face and hands, they assured him that if he waits another day or two, even that will have faded. He looks mostly like himself again. He feels like himself, though, and that's the most important.
So, Cisco goes to the Commissary so that he can start planning the suits for the Specials to wear under their jumpsuits. Tries to remember what all went into the original design of Barry's costume and how he'll have to tweak it here to be equally as effective without the exact same resources. He's sitting at a far table, making notes for himself in his PDC when he hears a familiar voice chirping cheerful hellos out in the hall. Cisco smiles a little and puts his PDC away, getting up and heading to the hall to meet her.
"Hey, Taylor!" he calls out playfully, leaning against the wall a few yards behind her, because apparently she's already passed the entrance of the Commissary he'd been the closest to.

Alcide is still new here. He's still getting his bearings. This is why he goes through much of the morning routine in a daze. He shares a room with Buffy Summers and Derek Hale. He has yet to really meet Derek aside from in passing, but his roommates seem okay. In the morning he gets up and dressed, then heads to breakfast where he's relieved that there's coffee with his rations that look like colorless glop. If there's coffee then the day is at least getting off on the right start.
[ mid-day ]
By lunchtime, Alcide is feeling jittery in every way. It's not unlike the added edge of being Alpha of a pack of wild wolves has given him before. It's like flying high on power. It's a thrill. It's also dangerous for a man with the temperament of an Alpha wolf to feel this way.
There's a very good reason Alcide gave up being in a pack, turned to being a lone wolf. He didn't like himself when he had that power. It almost changed him in a horrible way. He prefers to be a good guy than the man he had almost given himself over to. In that vein of being the Alpha, of wanting his wolf, of wishing it were here, he's having trouble keeping his jumpsuit all the way on. By mid day, he's wishing he could shift so much that the top half of his jumpsuit is hanging off at his waist and people are lucky the rest of it from the waist down is still on.
Whatever's happening to him right now, it isn't good. The wild look in his eyes, a look that gets even more wild as the day progresses, should warn most people that he isn't himself.
[ evening ]
By night time, Alcide is coming down from that high in a devastating way. Whatever happened to him today, he didn't like it every but as much as he didn't like the unnatural power of being the Alpha of his pack in Shreveport. It took him over in a way he hates.
He'll spend most of his night in his room, avoiding people. At dinner time, he'll head into the cafeterias. After eyeing the rations with suspicion, he'll make a decision not to eat or drink anything and walk out.
Mid-Day
She's feeling particularly chatty today as they traverse the hallways, her swinging her club at her side, him...undressing. She glances at him then glances again. She swallows hard, that keyed up feeling getting worse. She exhales. "The jumpsuits are--I mean like they couldn't have chosen something less fashionable, could they? And red really isn't my color. They should have picked a nice blue. Or white. I like the way I look in white."
She might be rambling a bit more today, even before he started getting undressed.

It's been an uncharacteristically good day and Derek wants to keep the momentum going, so he's whistling a Fall Out Boy — It's Dance, Dance, and don't judge him — tune to keep himself pumped and positive.
When Derek walks into the room and notes that Alcide is already in there, he can't help noticing the state of the other man's jumpsuit and his jaw goes slack with awe. "Oh, why didn't I think of that?!" he complains. "This thing is so itchy, I hate it." If Alcide can do it, so can Derek, he thinks as he starts to unzip his own jumpsuit to peel it down to his waist. "I'm Derek, by the way. I don't think we've actually gotten a chance to talk much, but I wanted to formally introduce myself."

And so she celebrates. She celebrates throughout the day by singing. Though the lyrics of some songs might be sad, it would be hard to tell from the joyous way in which she sings. At times, when the hallways are more crowded, she takes a break from singing to show off in another way. Katniss is an excellent singer. But she'd consider herself a better archer. With the bow and quiver stolen from the range, she shows off by making difficult shots.
Applause is unnecessary. Really.
At work, she assesses physical conditions by pulling her clients into dance. Or at least that's what she claims if anyone asks. Though it's her second day on the job, Katniss has yet to actually care about her work. Dancing is a lot more fun. Today is a good day to dance.
The dancing continues through the night. Although most of the effects of No Fear have died away, her HappiTime dosages continue as scheduled. The singing continues. But at least she finds a more appropriate place. Following her roommates (Gracie this time) is getting to be a bad habit. But once again, it pays off. The Strobe is a perfect place to waste the rest of the manic energy fueling her today.
Afternoon
So when she hears singing outside the store in the Commissary, because she hasn't any customers at the moment, it's a distraction. And whoever it is, they have a beautiful voice.
"Hey," she calls out, getting up from the front desk and moving to the entrance, not wanting to leave her merch unsupervised, but also wanting to make herself seen. "You, hey...with the singing, come here, will you? For a second?"

Buffy had snuck a cup of coffee after dinner too because she'd assumed she and Derek would end up exploring tonight. She's keyed up and ready to go when Derek hisses at her. He may have his jumpsuit around his waist, but hers is only unzipped a bit lower than usual. She takes her gas mask off and slips her feet into her shoes then grabs her flashlight. She'll follow Derek out the door silently, letting him lead for the most part. She's still restless and jumpy. She knows it's probably because of the coffee (but assumes it's the caffeine) but she'd needed it to get through the day.

It's sometime after she's dealt with a few of those showing more initiative, and sometime after Derek's kicked out the woman, that she abandons her post to join him. Katniss flashes him a smile tinted with mischief before reaching out to grab his hand.
"C'mon," she insists as she places that hand on her waist and takes his other hand in hers. Without waiting for much of a response or a reaction, Katniss starts a simple jig to imaginary music. "You deserve to have some fun, too."

In fact, she's decided that today, Blue isn't going to be Blue Sarget the good citizen. She's going to be Blue Sargent, rebel. She plays hooky from work for the first time after coming across Ronan and Adam blowing things up. For a little while she joins them until something else catches her attention.
Gansey. At first, Blue can't believe her eyes. She blinks furiously, her brow scrunching as she abandons shooting security camera lenses and stares straight ahead. It's hard to believe but she can't mistake the boy in front of her for anyone else. He's dressed in that stupid lime-green polo shirt she hates and those ridiculous top-siders. She smiles widely and then goes running down the hall to hug the hallucination.
For the rest of the day, Blue can be found talking to herself as she shows off Alpha Complex to her newly arrived hallucination of a boyfriend.
Afternoon
Today there's something in the coffee, though, that doesn't make it taste so bad. Or, rather, that makes her crave for seconds (and thirds) long before she generally does. It makes her wired, sure, but she doesn't mind it. Because, despite that, her mind feels absolutely clear and like it's processing thoughts at a speed that she can't quite keep up with, but she doesn't mind it. It helps her think, it helps her work on the weapons she's supposed to keep clean and ready to be used, and that's how she lands on her brilliant idea. What better way to make sure the weapons are okay and fully functional, than trying them out herself? Sure, that's not part of her job description, but so what? She would ensure the weapons she's in charge of will work better than ever by testing them out.
Except, first she needs a refill. The trip to the Commissary is almost a blur, but on her way back to the armed forces sector she catches sight of the girl talking to herself. Wearing a uniform that she hadn't seen before on anyone, but Allison doesn't find it as odd. If anything, it just makes her approach her that much easier.
"Hey. Nice uniform."

After that, she heads down to Specials HQ to catch up with anyone who might happen to be down there. And, you know, to play fetch with Gucci. She misses her baby, because she might have gotten caught up in a moment yesterday and left him down there after the promotion ceremony in favor of going back to her new room with Matt. Oops.

He doesn't go to see Lydia right away, though; instead, he makes a detour so that he can buy a few things. From there, he sneaks back to his room so that he can store the gas mask, goggles and flashlight under his bed, and then he heads back to the Commissary. All the walking puts a strain on his chest after doing nothing but rest all of yesterday, he can feel the discomfort of the reactor in his chest, but he refuses to let it show. Especially as he approaches Lydia's shop, because he really is happy for her and this new venture. Sure, he's worried - he doubts that will change any time soon - but he has to trust that this won't bring her any additional trouble than what she has already dealt with.
With one arm behind his back, he walks up to her and smiles when she turns to him. "Shop looks great. How's business going so far?"

Late evening (let me know if you want me to post this elsewhere)
She’s surprised, actually, when she only sees Izzy here. Or, as she’s started calling her in her head: the woman with the awesome tattoos. They introduced themselves when Izzy first moved in not long ago, and they’ve talked once or twice — let’s face it, you can’t avoid that type of thing when you live in a room with four other people. But Izzy was her bunkmate and she always seemed friendly.
And boy, has today been a day.
“Hi Izzy,” she says, smiling as she closes the door behind her. “How was your-“ Oh shoot. She can feel something in her nose. Quickly, she digs into her pockets for a tissue and pulls one out in time to catch the blood. “Ugh. Sorry. These just- I started getting them after lunch today. I’m not sure why.“
It doesn’t take her long however, to get it under the control. A little tiny piece of tissue, rolled up and stuck inside her left nostril does the trick. She’s not going to win any beauty pageants, but at least in a few minutes, she’ll be able to take it out and none of her roommates will have to deal with her blood on everything.

After noon | Closed to Cisco
Maybe that's what makes it worse when he finally sees Vision, but he isn't alone. He's being take away by a squad of Grey Ops, and Tony rushes over to stop them despite knowing damn well that he could get taken away for treason. He doesn't care. He doesn't know why they want him, and when he finally reaches them they tell him that they can't disclose any information, but Tony still tries to get them to let him go. He hasn't done anything, Tony tries to tell them, but all it earns him is a forceful shove that knocks him on his ass, and then they're gone.
No, his mind screams. Maybe he even yells it out as he scrambles to his feet, but it's too late. They're gone, Vision is gone, and Tony feels like his heart is pounding painfully against the arc reactor. He fully expects someone to grab him, take him along with Vision, and for a moment he's even ready to welcome it - hell, he wants them to try and grab him so that he can start swinging back - but nothing. Nothing happens, they're gone, and no one comes for him.
It's their mistake, Tony thinks. It feels like his blood is swirling loudly and viciously in his ears as his heart feels like it's going to burst out of his chest, but he doesn't even think for half a second that this feels...off. He has been angry ever since waking up at the hospital, but right now that anger feels just right. Because that desire to destroy the Computer is back with a vengeance, and he stalks his way down to Specials HQ with that specific goal in mind. It's all he can
obsess overthink about, making his walk feel like a blur, but suddenly he's there, and Cisco is in there as well, and Tony brightens because yes. They were going to take down this hellhole, right? It's perfect."Hey," he greets a little breathless. "You busy?"
late afternoon if that's coooool, just for my continuity's sake
"Nah, mostly just guess work for the moment. I don't have a whole lot of material down here. I was going to go steal from the our lab, but I can't get in there, so...I'm just stuck with what I managed to steal up to this point, which isn't a whole lot. What's up, man, how are you feeling?" he asks.
Cisco sets down the things he's working with for a moment and really gets a good look at Tony. There's that glint in his eye again and he sounds like he's been running. Why does Cisco get the feeling that this isn't going to be your average, every day conversation? Things have been going really well for him today. Weirdly well. Everything just feels good and seriously, he loves these people. Not the Alphas, but the Specials. All of them. But especially Tony. "You sound winded, dude, you good?"
that works!

Weapon Effectiveness Assessors - prepare for mayhem
That was still more than enough for the drug to affect his system.
It started slowly, so much so that he couldn't be entirely sure this wasn't just the natural effect of the caffeine-like substitute hitting him like it always did, but by the time he was finished "eating" and had made it to his service firm for the day, Clint was feeling like he maybe could plow through a wall like he'd seen Thor do a couple of times. For the moment, it was minor, a feeling of confidence and a slight increase in brain activity, with which came ideas - which meant that the first thing that he did when he got to the WEA was grab one of the laser-gun prototypes that they were supposed to be testing that day, a small screwdriver, and some wires, and start opening the thing to begin modifying it.
This would either go extremely well or exceptionally poorly.
no subject
Peggy looked at the wires, looked at the screwdriver and huffed. Boys. She settled down to watch him, curious to see what he'd come up with when he hadn't even drawn some kind of schematic and was playing with technology that was truly unworldly, and sipped at her second cup of coffee. Warmth curled in her stomach and flooded slowly down to her toes.
"You missed a wire." She hasn't the first idea what it was meant to lead to, but- "I imagine you might need it. On the floor by your left foot."

Not her roommates, of course, although she doesn't know them very well other than Cisco. Natasha hates the room in general, and how very purposeful it is in removing any sense of individuality to brand them as numbers instead of people. She knows not to rock the boat, because this isn't Natasha's first rodeo when it comes to tyrannical hierarchies, but today, she doesn't care. Today, Natasha is going to do something about it.
The only person that she knows who drinks more coffee than she does is Clint, and after two cups she is more than aware that something was happening. Her own intel gives her an idea of exactly what's going on and who is responsible, and Natasha knows that the withdrawal is going to be a bitch. She also knows who's head she has to make roll to make sure sure this doesn't happen again, but for now, who cares? She feels great, and she knows it's the drug, but she hasn't felt great in a very long time and this sensation, this freeing concept of not having to worry, is too good for her to let slip by. Maybe that's the drug talking as well. Once again, though; who cares?
She doesn't have much to work with in the way of decoration but what she does have is paper, and Natasha leans against the wall next to her door in the hallway making small flowers in the same style that she did when she was a little girl. A practice that was done for hours on end to exercise their fine motor skills when she was around nine, because it's useful to have an army of children who can reach into small spaces and complete work on a micro scale. Natasha likes to think that they let her do it so she could feel normal sometimes. Today, she can even convince herself that maybe it was a little of both.
She's singing to herself as she does it, head swaying a little with a faint smile on her lips - oh she's going to murder whatever Free Enterprise agent was behind this. Once she finishes a flower she moves to stick it on the door of her room, uncaring of who or what may pass by to see her. Let them try to stop her. Natasha wants a pretty door, and she dares some robo-guard to try and tell her she can't have it; they have necks, which means that they can be snapped. She laughs a little to herself mid-chorus at the thought.
Re: Afternoon
She stopped a little bit away from Natasha, not wanting to interrupt her or anything. She was just watching, not in a creepy stalker way, but in a that looks interesting what is it kind of way. She bit her lip nervously for about three seconds, before throwing caution to the wind, crouched down next to her.
"Whatcha doin'?" She asked.

Sleep has always been hard for Steve. There were too many things that haunt him when the room goes dark and all he’s left with are his memories. There’s too many mistakes the Captain can’t take back, but he’s found a way to live with it. But living with those types of mistakes isn’t pleasant — and one of the side effects was that he barely sleeps.
It also doesn’t help that, according to his glitches, three months ago, Steve didn’t need to rely on sleep. His body didn’t need as many hours or as much rest as he did as a kid, or as most people do as adults.
At least when he was in RED, whatever gassed they used worked. Sleep had come to him at the same time every day, on a schedule that would have made the Army proud. But now that he was in GREEN, there was no more gas, so Steve went back to tossing and turning and dozing off when he could.
Yet somehow, last night was different.
Maybe it was because he was completely exhausted from the night before, having stayed up all night to watch over Tony’s room in the hospital, and then went in for a full day of work right after. So last night, it had taken him awhile, but eventually Steve actually slept for at least four straight hours before waking up that morning. And of course, he woke up late. Late, because he planned on bringing coffee to Tony before the Troubleshooter meeting that morning.
Ten minutes later, he’s running out the door, a thermos of coffee in hand, his hair not exactly combed, and his jumpsuit zipper is a little messed up, but at least Steve feels better rested than he’s been in weeks.
{ Afternoon, Post-Coffee; Currently for Emma⇢Jack, Gracie, Izzy, Morgana }
[ ooc: the plotting post for kissing Steve is located here! basically I’ve set this up so that he can be near all of your jobs if you want to find him there! ]
After the huge R&D explosion, divisions of the Armed Forces were asked to fan themselves out across the Complex and see if they can find any suspicious activity. Since Steve was of higher rank, and more than a little famous, he’d specifically been deployed to the various Sectors to speak to those in charge of daily operations, and make recommendations on their security protocols.
While technically he does have shared autocar privileges, most of the time Steve chose to walk. It gives him a better understanding of the subsectors, and for some reason, he feels really good today, and it leaves Steve wondering if this is what normal people feel like after a good night’s rest.
Afternoon near the Hospital/Medical Services
It's shortly after exiting the hospital that she spots the familiar, and friendly, face. Izzy's smile grows of it's own volition, the euphoria that she was already experiencing shooting up. She has to talk to Steve. He's a good guy. She likes him. After all, he's adorable and sexy, which (if you think about it) is a pretty rare combo. Though, she's not sure when she started to tack sexy onto her mental description.
"Steve!" Izzy waves to catch the taller, more muscular, and decidedly male individual as she rushes over to catch up. The petite shadowhunter wastes no time in taking a hold of his arm by looping her arm under his and sidling up close. "Fancy seeing you here. I feel like I haven't seen you in a while. What are you doing over this way?" Izzy can feel Steve's bicep the way she's holding his arm. #27 definitely earned his title from what she can feel.
Honestly, he could have been closer to the top, Izzy notes, fingers of her left hand (the one not looped) now brushing over his bicep.

Closed to Felicity
That didn't make it easy.
But he'd still asked her to meet him so that they could discuss just why he hadn't been ready to pick up where she thought they'd left off. It meant rehashing everything he'd done wrong and trying not to oversell how he'd been doing it for the right reasons.
He'd been between a rock and a hard place and did it really make a difference whether he'd actually told the people who'd eventually found out? It was a debate he'd been having with himself since that night and he'd still come to no conclusions, but maybe that in itself was a conclusion. There had been no right answer and he'd just have to live with the consequences, even if he had to inform Felicity of what they'd been himself.
The one thing he knew for sure was that it wasn't fair adding another lie on top of all the other ones, especially when this was a lie he wasn't sure he could live with.
no subject
And then Oliver tells her that he wants to meet, and he wants to talk about them … and Felicity all but stops in her tracks. She probably would have waited a month, maybe even more, given how much whatever happened seemed to be weighing on Oliver. But he wants to talk today. And she … of course she says yes.
It isn’t easy, to find somewhere completely private, given the fact that privacy seemed to be a luxury that comes with rank around here. But why don’t they try the Specials headquarters in the middle of the day, she suggests, if they can both get away. Sometimes there are a lot of people here at night, but during the day, on break, Felicity hopes that it’ll be empty.
And she gets there, just a minute early because oh god she was fidgety today. But she’s hopeful, so very very hopeful, that no matter what it is that Oliver tells her, things will still be okay. They’ll still be okay.
Tony | Morning
Yeah. Don't spike people's coffee, kids.
But at least the bowl was for a good cause, and so, eventually she sweet talked him into looking the other way. Her station always seemed to produce a bit extra, anyway.
By mid-morning she had the basket of her choice and the drugged coffee, though it still lingered it was fading enough for her to slip out and go find Tony. She could message him, and she did consider it but the complex, certainly the parts either of them could access, frankly just wasn't that big and so she wandered with the bowl in a bag as she looked for him.
If a man got exploded he at least deserved some real food, and maybe it would ease her guilt at not being friendlier to those she had met in this place. Maybe.
On the plus side, she was still grinning and giggly, so maybe the coffee wasn't so bad.

It doesn't really work, though. Not completely, anyway. It still lingers in the back of his mind, but it helps that now he has a new job to focus on, thanks to Lydia. It helps to know that he won't be going back to Bot Processing, or being so closely watched by the Computer. Sure, the damn thing is watching literally everything else, but at least he's free from it while he's supposed to be working. He has already started working on schematics in his head on things that he wants to work on and build, and he's actually looking forward to starting on them as soon as possible.
By the time that Morgana comes looking for him, Tony is in the Commissary, sitting at a table and poking around his PDC. He's a little distracted with it but, when he notices that someone is heading his way, he turns to see her and smiles in greeting. Even with the jumpsuit, and the undershirt that he's wearing, the glow of the arc reactor is still shining through and there's no way to hide the new foreign object that is embedded in his chest. He's...well, a little self conscious about it, but he almost forgets about it when he notices how much Morgana is grinning and giggling as she walks.
"Hey. Good day today, huh?"
