Daycycle 108 [ September 18 - September 24 ]
daycycle 108
[Sept 18 - Sept 24]
Early Morning [0800 - 0900] — All Troubleshooters Report for Duty
There is no Mission assigned to any Specials today.
Morning & Afternoon [0900 - 1600] — Service Firm Positions
All Troubleshooters not assigned a mission should report to their Service Firm for their daily duties, unless specifically assigned a different shift.
Death Leopard is back! After nearly having nearly all of it's members hunted down and exterminated after the parade fiasco a few months ago, new leadership has arisen within the secret society and has been secretly recruiting new members hellbent on destruction for destruction's sake. A large number of Death Leopard members work within the Armed Services divison and at approximately 1400 today, a large shipment of weapons will be stolen.
At 1500 Death Leopard members stationed throughout Alpha will cause utter chaos by careening through Alpha in stolen motor cars, blaring loud music and shooting up the place. For the most part, they are not aiming for people, but their goal is to accomplish as much property damage as possible and announce their return. They do not, however, have any qualms at shooting officials clearance level YELLOW or higher. They have several grenades that they will use throughout their reign of terror, tossing them at random store fronts and service firms.
All Troubleshooters will be called on to stop them by any means necessary.
It will later be discovered that during this show of blatant disregard for Alpha Citizen Life, two more shipments of weapons were stolen.
Evening [1600 - 2200] — Citizen Improvement
All Alpha citizens are encouraged to better themselves through Alpha’s wide variety of educational, entertainment and cultural opportunities offered each evening. Attending these sanctioned events are not mandatory, but is highly encouraged by The Computer. Citizens choosing not to take advantage of these opportunities, have a growing number of other options available to them in how to spend their hard earned credits and free time.
Tonight’s event will be at 1700 in Meeting Room F, Wagon Wheel Floor 27 and will be hosted by the Volunteer Form Checkers. Help Alpha Complex by volunteering your time to check forms this evening as the scanners in the Housing, Planning & Development sector is down.
Alpha Curfew Restrictions
All Alpha citizens should be in their quarters within the Wagon Wheel by 2200, unless they’ve been given permission from a GREEN or higher clearance level citizen. Sleeping Aid gas is dispelled each night in the Wagon Wheel at 2200 to assist citizens in getting a productive sleeping period.
Confession Booths
There are hundreds of confession booths available around Alpha Complex if a citizen would like to communicate directly with the computer. Please use these confession booths to report mission statuses, report treason or terrorist acts, unregistered mutants, confess your trespasses against Alpha Complex, request propaganda or speak with Your Friend, The Computer, at any time.

Buffy nods a little, clearly understanding what Allison means about the glitches. "Everything I've seen, is pretty standard, but maybe you'll find something interesting. Weapons wise. Let me know if you do? I used to have a scythe I was pretty fond of."
no subject
"I will definitely let you know." She nods, taking a sip of her coffee. The conversation is even distracting her from how 'strong' the coffee is. "Scythe. Got it. Was that here, or...you know. Glitches?"
no subject
"In this place, it wouldn't surprise me." She seems to consider that a moment. "And that idea is either really scary or really awesome depending on who finds said weapon hoard." She has no desire to see it in the hands of some of the people who've been wrecking havoc without any regard to who's getting hurt. Buffy is all on board for having fun here where one can take it, especially if it benefits others the way Allison's job does.
That's a side benefit then. "Glitches," Buffy says with a glance down to her coffee then back up to Allison. "If you find it, you're not going to want anyone but me to have it. It's got some pretty heavy mojo on it that could be used to make things turn south in the wrong hands." She knows. She's seen it done back home. "Or so the glitches tell me."
no subject
At Buffy's answer, she gives a small nod. To say that Allison is more than curious about this weapon that has some powerful mojo would be an understatement, and it's obvious by the look on her face that she's more than a little fascinated. "Got it. Don't worry, I will. As long as you let me borrow it at least to just test it out?"
It's said lightly, as if it's a joke, but really. She's more than serious, because just from the little that Buffy has said, it already sounds awesome.

The Slayer scythe is interesting in so many ways. She doesn't mind telling Allison about them either. She smiles at Allison's comment and nods. "Sure. We'll grab a room in the armed forces sector and practice with it." Her brow furrows a little. "I don't know if you'll feel it the way that I do though." She doesn't know if Allison will be able to tell how it's special because part of what's so special about it is the magic it's made with, magic that's specific to a slayer.
She tilts her head a little. "Do you believe in magic?"
This whole conversation is probably treasonous. Maybe the computer won't be able to understand a good deal of it.
no subject
"I... Yeah, I guess it's safe to say that I do. I'm familiar with the out-of-the-ordinary things." That would be one way to put it, she thinks. She has never witnessed magic herself - unless you count the Darach - but she definitely has experience on the things you can't quite explain.
"Is the Scythe laced with magic?"
no subject
Buffy nods a little, a grateful, little smile on her lips. "Big magic. Old magic," Buffy answers, wondering if the Computer even understands the concept of magic. "Slayer magic, but that might not mean anything to you."
Different worlds and all.
no subject
Slayer magic sounds pretty badass, though. To the point that she even leans a little forward in interest, resting her arms on the table. "Is Slayer magic a big thing where you are?"
no subject
That sounds like something Derek said to her about werewolves being a majority where he's from. "Do you know Derek Hale?" Maybe she should explain her non sequitur. "He mentioned something to me about there being a lot of werewolves where he's from. They're pretty rare in my world. I just wondered if you were both from the same place."
It actually is pretty bad ass even if Buffy rails against the way it was originally parsed out. "Yes and no. It's a big deal, but there's not much of it. It's the magic that makes a girl a slayer and the scythe is a source of it."
no subject
He's also the one that Scott trusted, and someone she was forced to work with, so... Again, she doesn't hate him, but she's also not his biggest fan.
"Yeah, I do. You guys are friends?"
With a nod as if to say she understands, Allison smiles. "Wow. I don't think we have anything like that where I'm from, but that sounds pretty cool."
no subject
She nods a little at Allison's question. "He's my room mate. Things were a little rocky at first. I don't think he liked me much, but I've won him over."
"You've got magic though?" She's curious about what kind and what it does. If they could get any form of it here, they might be able to at least make life a little better if not get out of here.

Her fingers drum against the table idly as she thinks about Buffy's question. "Of sorts, yeah. The only one I've come across has been dark magic, though. A druid was terrorizing the town, it was this...big thing. Thankfully she was stopped before she killed too many people."
Jennifer had killed a good amount - she had even almost killed her father - but thankfully they had managed to stop her. It hadn't been easy, and she had lost a part of her soul in the process, but she was stopped. That's what mattered.
