Daycycle 101 [ July 31 - August 6 ]

daycycle 101

[July 31 - Aug 6]

Early Morning [0800 - 0900]All Troubleshooters Report for Duty
Adam Parrish and Matt Murdock, have been selected for today’s mission. Details are below:

"We’ve repainted this antique autocar for its VIOLET owner, and we need someone to drive it back to its owner’s compound. Take one of these single-use brevet badges to demonstrate you’re authorized to use such high-clearance equipment. Whatever you do, don’t lose your badge! And whatever happens, don’t get into an accident! If you so much as scratch the paint job....

Maybe don't let the blind guy drive."

Please debrief the computer on the status of your mission by the end of the Daycycle here.

Morning & Afternoon [0900 - 1600]Service Firm Positions
All Troubleshooters not assigned a mission should report to their Service Firm for their daily duties, unless specifically assigned a different shift.

Evening [1600 - 2200]Citizen Improvement
All Alpha citizens are encouraged to better themselves through Alpha’s wide variety of educational, entertainment and cultural opportunities offered each evening. Attending these sanctioned events are not mandatory, but is highly encouraged by The Computer. Citizens choosing not to take advantage of these opportunities, have a growing number of other options available to them in how to spend their hard earned credits and free time.

Tonight’s event will be at 1800 in Field A, Armed Forces Sector and will be hosted by the Extra Calisthenics Volunteer Group. Join ECV for a four hour boot camp designed to get you in peak physical shape or kill you trying!

Alpha Curfew Restrictions
All Alpha citizens should be in their quarters within the Wagon Wheel by 2200, unless they’ve been given permission from a GREEN or higher clearance level citizen. Sleeping Aid gas is dispelled each night in the Wagon Wheel at 2200 to assist citizens in getting a productive sleeping period.

Confession Booths
There are hundreds of confession booths available around Alpha Complex if a citizen would like to communicate directly with the computer. Please use these confession booths to report mission statuses, report treason or terrorist acts, unregistered mutants, confess your trespasses against Alpha Complex, request propaganda or speak with Your Friend, The Computer, at any time.

Well, he did pull a pass grade out of his ass after not attending class an entire semester. He's bright enough, even if he won't tell anyone that. How good he is at the game really depends on his mood. If this place makes him angry, he's just volatile enough to scream, curse and commit treason loudly in a public place. So far, he's held onto his temper. Part of that is his experiences back home; he's grown and matured. Part of it is having Adam here to look after and he can't do that if he's drugged, dead or locked up. It also helps that he's got a job where he gets to use some of that aggression.

He nods, glad that she understands.

"Come on. I'll show you where Adam and I are staying." That way, she knows where to come look for them if she needs something.

He has Adam here to look after, and now he has Blue, too. Albeit, if that ever gets implied, Blue is likely to throw a tantrum herself. It's hypocritical of her given that she has every intention to look after Ronan and Adam both. She'd like to think that Gansey would like that. More than it, they're her friends, too, and she doesn't have all that many of them.

"Adam's here, too?" Blue asks, following him without hesitation. "I didn't realize."

Oh, Ronan isn't stupid enough to imply that. He understands how Blue thinks, at least now he does. For the most part. He also understands that she's hypocritical as shit. He expects they'll all kind of look after each other, this little gang of protectiveness.

Ronan nods. "Yup. Showed up with me." He leads her to the elevator so they can go to the eleventh floor.

makeslouder: ([neutral] um)

He understands enough not to piss her off. That's probably the most important thing. They will all look after one another because that's what those glitched memories say they should do. And Blue is just stubborn enough to cling to the idea that those are the real memories. They're too vivid to just be a mistake.

"Good," Blue says, pleased for Ronan and Adam but also not-so-secretly jealous. She hasn't seen Gansey anywhere and while she wouldn't wish this strange fate on him, it would be nice to have him here with her. "That's good."

Mostly. Feel free to call her on her bullshit.

Ronan tilts his chin up, watching Blue for a second. He gets it. He wishes Gansey were here too. He doesn't call her on her bullshit because of that.

"Come on. I'll walk you to your job. Where are you assigned?"
makeslouder: ([indifference] unsure)

"Sewage reclamation," she answers, quirking an eyebrow at the words. Blue's doing her best not to think too much into her job assignment. Maybe it'll be a lot better than it sounds.

Maybe.

"What's yours?"
fictor: (What? [amused])

"Well that's gotta suck goat balls," Ronan responds. He's got no problems judging her job assignment.

However, when she asks about his, he smirks. "Trouble shooter. They've got me in security." Which he thinks is a laugh.
