Daycycle 113 [ October 23 - October 29 ]
daycycle 113
[Oct 23 - Oct 29]
[OOC Plotting for this Dacycle can be found here.]
[Specials can see a Specials Supporters Anonymous chat leaked onto the network in the wee small hours of the morning, here.]
Early Morning [0800 - 0900] — All Troubleshooters Report for Duty
Allison Argent and Peggy Carter, have been selected for today’s mission. Details are below:
‘There have been multiple reports of sightings of unregistered mutants near the south sewer entrance. Go investigate with caution.’
Please debrief the computer on the status of your mission by the end of the Daycycle here.
Morning & Afternoon [0900 - 1600] — Service Firm Positions
All Troubleshooters not assigned a mission should report to their Service Firm for their daily duties, unless specifically assigned a different shift.
Evening [1600 - 2200] — Citizen Improvement
All Alpha citizens are encouraged to better themselves through Alpha’s wide variety of educational, entertainment and cultural opportunities offered each evening. Attending these sanctioned events are not mandatory, but is highly encouraged by The Computer. Citizens choosing not to take advantage of these opportunities, have a growing number of other options available to them in how to spend their hard earned credits and free time.
Tonight’s event will be at 2000 in Warehouse 97 in the R&D Sector and will be hosted by the Alpha Fight Club. Martial Arts and Boxing are skills all Alpha Citizens should have. Join us as we demonstrate how to get started and how to fight properly.
Alpha Curfew Restrictions
All Alpha citizens should be in their quarters within the Wagon Wheel by 2200, unless they’ve been given permission from a GREEN or higher clearance level citizen. Sleeping Aid gas is dispelled each night in the Wagon Wheel at 2200 to assist citizens in getting a productive sleeping period.
Confession Booths
There are hundreds of confession booths available around Alpha Complex if a citizen would like to communicate directly with the computer. Please use these confession booths to report mission statuses, report treason or terrorist acts, unregistered mutants, confess your trespasses against Alpha Complex, request propaganda or speak with Your Friend, The Computer, at any time.

It's not until she mentions the nightmares that Tony flinches a little despite himself, as if she's bringing up a dirty little secret that he had been keeping back then - and that, in some ways, he's keeping now. Because he may be put under, but it's not like the Sleeping Aid manages to wipe out the dreams he sometimes ends up having anyway.
Still, Natasha's words are comforting to hear, and they alleviate at least a little the knot that he has felt in his stomach since waking up in Medical Services. A little voice in the back of his head remind him that he doesn't deserve them, or her saying them, but he's greedy. He wants to believe them - he needs to believe them - and he gives a quick nod as if to say that yes, he understands.
Except... After what had happened seven days ago Tony had refused to talk about his ordeal with the mind control chip, because he still can't reconcile the fact that he doesn't remember exactly what had happened. He can't remember what he had done from the moment he had woken up with the chip, to the moment that Felicity had managed to kill the transmission, and fuck if that isn't something that he wants to forget. But now, especially considering that there's really not that many people that he can go to with this (which is yet another reason why he hadn't mentioned anything to anyone in the first place), he finds himself arguing with himself about whether or not to tell her. Not because he doesn't trust her, but because he doesn't know what it'll do.
Not saying anything hadn't done much either, though, and now he has the reactor wedged between his chest bone all over again. Were the two connected? It's possible that it isn't, but what if it is? What if it isn't just his paranoia making him draw conclusions that were maybe too farfetched?
"...this isn't the first time they've installed something," he finally admits when she moves away from the table, but Tony doesn't quite turn to her just yet. "About a week ago, I... I had a chip. In my brain. Some society called Corpore Metal got me, and I didn't realize what happened until I woke up in the SubSectors." He moves towards the table, but he barely drums his fingers on the edge of it before he turns to face her, leaning against the workstation. "It's out now. It has been out, but it just... Between that, and this," he taps the arc reactor, "I guess I'm just trying to make sense of it. Although, it's not like this place really makes a whole lot of sense, anyway."
Which is probably the most frustrating part. Tony's a man of logic, of solutions, and it feels like he's staring at an equation without being able to figure out the answer.
