If Cisco notices Tony's distraction, he doesn't say so. Instead he just nods and smiles, glad to know that his friend is okay. "Yeah, I'm good. Little bit sore, still, but I'm hoping that'll fade sooner than later. Nowhere near as bad as I was yesterday," he replies as Tony squeezes his shoulder. Man, Tony's the best. Literally, in this whole place, if there was anyone Cisco had to nearly die with that wasn't Barry, he'd want it to be Tony. Not that he'd want Barry or Tony to almost die, but he's just saying. Tony's like having Harry around who doesn't get annoyed with him at every turn or call him Ramon.

It's hard not to notice the way that Tony is holding himself back from just having at the pile of stuff Cisco's working with; he knows that look, because he practically lived in it when he first started at STAR, before he was allowed to actually take on any cool projects. He smirks a little and looks over at his friend.

"This? This is going to be a freeze ray when I'm finished. You know, they have a lot of stuff here that didn't work for Dr. Palmer's nanotech but it works just fine for building a cold gun, if I do say so myself. I'm a little shy of functional; I need to build the triggering mechanism and then I can start testing but...not too bad for a quick prototype, if I do say so myself. I don't know how effective it'll be and I really don't know if it'll actually freeze things the way my old one did, but there's only one way to find out, huh?"
