Early, Early Morning [0400 - 0800]
Lydia Martin will be woken up at 0400 when a squad of Internal Security Gray Ops come to arrest Samantha Groves for treason. Root will be led away at gun point and Lydia will be immediately taken into IntSec for questioning. She will be grilled for the next four hours on Root's activites and her own loyalty. She will not be released until the Early Morning briefing.

Early Morning [0800 - 0900] — All Troubleshooters Report for Duty

It is announced that there will be a mandatory ceremony for all Troubleshooters this evening in the Commissary. Not attending is treason.

There is no Mission assigned to any Specials Today.

Morning & Afternoon [0900 - 1600] — Service Firm Positions
All Troubleshooters not assigned a mission should report to their Service Firm for their daily duties, unless specifically assigned a different shift.

At 1200 explosives planted by the Frankenstien Destroyers will detonate in the Bot Processing division. The goal is to destroy as many bots as processing equipment as possible. These explosions will cause significant damage to the division and temporarily lock down part of R&D. Troubleshooters will be called to the scene to help clean up and assist citizens caught in the blast.

Evening [1600 - 2200] — Citizen Improvement
All Alpha citizens are encouraged to better themselves through Alpha’s wide variety of educational, entertainment and cultural opportunities offered each evening. Attending these sanctioned events are not mandatory, but is highly encouraged by The Computer. Citizens choosing not to take advantage of these opportunities, have a growing number of other options available to them in how to spend their hard earned credits and free time.

Tonight’s event will be at 1800 in the Commissary and will be hosted by Internal Security. This ceremony is to recognize the hard work and dedication of the Troubleshooters who have gone above and beyond in their service to Alpha Complex. The following specials will be promoted a clearance level for their work: Jillian Holtzmann, promoted to ORANGE for her work in explosives, Lydia Martin, promoted to YELLOW for her work in hygeine, and Matt Murdock, promoted to GREEN for his work in Personal Legal Defensive Practices. A mandatory round of clapping will be held for three minutes for each promotion.

Alpha Curfew Restrictions
All Alpha citizens should be in their quarters within the Wagon Wheel by 2200, unless they’ve been given permission from a GREEN or higher clearance level citizen. Sleeping Aid gas is dispelled each night in the Wagon Wheel at 2200 to assist citizens in getting a productive sleeping period.

Confession Booths
There are hundreds of confession booths available around Alpha Complex if a citizen would like to communicate directly with the computer. Please use these confession booths to report mission statuses, report treason or terrorist acts, unregistered mutants, confess your trespasses against Alpha Complex, request propaganda or speak with Your Friend, The Computer, at any time.

He lets it go because she clearly doesn't want to address whatever it is that's on her mind. Hopefully, she'll open up to him later. She changes the subject and he nods a little, ducking his head toward her.

Another time. Maybe it will be better to have this conversation some other time, some other place. It's one they should have though because her insecurity is unfounded. Of course, he doesn't realize that his insecurities and concerns about falling in love with Lydia are unfounded as well.

He leans his head into her touch, softly sighing in contentment at the feel of her fingers against her scalp. "Mmmm very nice," he agrees.

Admittedly, relief and guilt come in equal measure when Matt lets it drop, taking the hint. She can tell that he's read into it that there's something on her mind she isn't willing to talk about suddenly, which is where the guilt comes in. But he's also read into the fact that pushing isn't going to help and he's relented; therein lies the relief. It makes her feel like a hypocrite because she's forever feeling like she wishes Matt would open up more when she can tell a part of him wants to, but she can't help it. It's a scary subject. They'll get there eventually, but today is not the day.

"See?" she asks with a warm smile, her fingers moving to the back of his head and the nape of his neck to massage the shampoo into his hair and scalp there, too. "It's kind of amazing right?"

Lydia takes her time because she's already finished but her hair is longer and took him a bit more time. She thinks it's only fair to extend the same amount of attention to him even though he doesn't require it. It feels nice, so she might as well. Once she's finished a few minutes later, she starts to guide him toward the water, holding him close and sort of swaying the two of them until they've turned half a circle and he's under the water instead. "Close your eyes," she says softly, shivering reflexively when the cool air hits her wet skin without the warmth of the water to block the chill.

Opening up to someone, even someone you love, is all about the right timing. It's about feeling comfortable enough both with circumstances and the person to say what you need to say. It's not the right time for Lydia. He respects that and hopes that eventually she will open up.

"It really is." He's always gone down to the local barbershop to get his hair cut. He's never had someone shampoo his hair before. Of course, he thinks that part of the amazing has to do with Lydia being the one to shampoo his hair.

He closes his eyes and dips under the water, groaning softly at the feel of the hot water, at the feel of Lydia's fingers in his hair.

This is the most intimate Lydia and Matt have been without being joined physically in the heat of a moment. It's weird how something as simple as washing one another's hair can feel like that. She supposes it helps, of course, that they're in the shower, but there's a certain level of trust too, maybe, that comes with being in the shower with someone, having your eyes closed and letting them come near your face with something that could burn your eyes if they aren't careful enough.

But really, Lydia thinks a lot of that intimacy comes from the fact that this is a quiet moment where they're loving one another without saying a word. Or at least, she's loving him. She's not sure if that feeling goes both ways.

A moment later, she's finished and she's guiding him beneath the water, moving her fingers through wet hair and over his forehead to keep the soap away from his eyes as she rinses the shampoo out. Once again, the sentiment she fears almost bubbles up and out of her before she can stop it, but she bites it back while she's still rinsing his hair of the shampoo suds and guides him back out from under the spray when she's finished. "What do you say we finish up in here ourselves and then we go get dirty again in bed before we fall asleep?" she asks playfully, knowing that he'll know what she means by that.

It feels like an important step in their relationship, being this intimate without having sex. That trust is probably a lot of what makes this so intimate.

That feeling definitely goes both ways. This intimacy and care is Matt's way of loving her, of showing her that he loves her. He hopes that she's getting that in this moment, that she feels how much he loves her.

He revels in the way that she touches him, that she takes such care. The playful words make him smile, a soft chuff of a chuckle bubbling out. "I think you're full of amazing ideas today," he tells her, grabbing for the soap.

"Oh, honey, I'm full of amazing ideas every day, where've you been?" she teases playfully. Lydia might not have had the courage to tell him that she loves him today standing in the shower, but she can feel that there's something there between them; that maybe he feels it, too. That's enough for her, for now. When it's time to say it out loud, she'll feel it and she'll go for it. Now just isn't that moment.

"All right, let's get this show on the road. I'm so ready for you, you have no idea," she adds in a coy little purr.

Lydia takes the soap when he's finished and goes on to wash herself, smiling a little. A shower, some slow sex, and then bed sounds about perfect to Lydia right now.
