Daycycle 124 [January 29 - February 4]
daycycle 124
[Jan 29 - Feb 4]
[OOC Plotting for this Dacycle can be found here.]
Early Morning [0800 - 0900] — All Troubleshooters Report for Duty
No Specials will be selected for a mission today.
Morning & Afternoon [0900 - 1600] — Service Firm Positions
All Troubleshooters not assigned a mission should report to their Service Firm for their daily duties.
At 0900, Allison Argent will be reassigned to Armed Forces' Very Special Forces firm under Steve Rogers.
At 1300, VIOLET judge Bethany Abbott will be discovered dead in her chambers. Her death will ultimately be ruled murder by poisonous gas. Mind Control will immediately begin running coverage on her accomplishments, including the controversial decision less than a week ago to drop the treason charges against Oliver Queen and Parker and return them to Alpha. Once again, the letters "MOD" will be found at the crime scene. This time carved across Abbott's desk underneath her slumped body.
Gracie Cannell will be pulled from her blog to cover the breaking news due to her Special status.
News of the murder will spread like wildfire across Alpha, inciting fear in higher clearance citizens because VIOLET citizens were believed to be untouchable. In lower clearance citizens, the event will be enough to get ASS vocal again. Within hours there will be anti-special messages spray painted across Alpha.
Evening [1600 - 2200] — Citizen Improvement
All Alpha citizens are encouraged to better themselves through Alpha’s wide variety of educational, entertainment and cultural opportunities offered each evening. Attending these sanctioned events are not mandatory, but is highly encouraged by The Computer. Citizens choosing not to take advantage of these opportunities, have a growing number of other options available to them in how to spend their hard earned credits and free time.
Tonight’s event will be at 1800 in the Wagon Wheel, floor 25, Room H and will be held by the Extreme Ironing Club. This group is for those Alpha citizens who can't get their uniforms wrinkle-free enough. (Though anyone who may attend this incredibly boring sounding meeting, will actually find an established Free Enterprise dice game in progress instead.)
During the dinner rush, at 1900 a group of twenty ASS members in masks and armed with steel bars will form a brief demonstration in the Commissary in which they chant "Down with Specials." If there happens to be any Specials present in the Commissary at that time, they will attack them with malice.
Alpha Curfew Restrictions
All Alpha citizens should be in their quarters within the Wagon Wheel by 2200, unless they’ve been given permission from a GREEN or higher clearance level citizen. Sleeping Aid gas is dispelled each night in the Wagon Wheel at 2200 to assist citizens in getting a productive sleeping period.
Confession Booths
There are hundreds of confession booths available around Alpha Complex if a citizen would like to communicate directly with the computer. Please use these confession booths to report mission statuses, report treason or terrorist acts, unregistered mutants, confess your trespasses against Alpha Complex, request propaganda or speak with Your Friend, The Computer, at any time.

And, while at some point it might have scared Tony, right now it doesn't. A lot of people have seen Tony the playboy, but that version of himself is dead and gone. He has been dead and gone for years now, really, but that fact is being cemented right now. Every touch, every glance, every way that Tony whispers to him and right down to the way he moves, it's all specifically so that Steve can know one thing: that this is special to him, too. That this may be Steve's first time, but it's not lost on him how incredibly important this is to him as well. How significant. How absolutely unforgettable this will be for both of them.
As he kisses him again, Tony helps to undress Steve the best way he could. There's an urgency in his movement, because now that the green light has been given it's like he cannot wait to touch Steve and feel him inside him, but he doesn't move too fast in case there's a moment in which Steve ever hesitates. Because he's ready to stop, too, just in case he ends up not feeling ready, and that's important to Tony, too, that he knows that.
Except, Steve doesn't want to stop. He can see the surprise at times, the amazement at everything that's happening, but it's never hesitation. It's never a no, or a stop, and the look of pure adoration and desire in Tony's face say everything he can't say right now. That blend of you're beautiful, and I love you that he can't quite bring his voice to say yet.
He lets his movements show him, though. With every kiss he slips against his collarbone or his lips, with every way his fingertips get to know the dips and valleys of his muscles, with the way he hooks his legs against Steve's and holds him close. And then, as he 'walks him through' what to do once Steve is ready, Tony is mesmerized in the way he looks. In how happy he feels. In how Steve manages to draw out ragged moans out of him so easily in the best way possible, and as their bodies seem to blend together into one, he gets lost in the perfection of it all.

There are many moments where Steve wants to slow down, not because he's having second thoughts, but because he doesn't want to go fast, even if sometimes it feels like his body is begging him to let it go fast as possible. He'd be lying if somewhere deep down, Steve didn't worry that to Tony, this was just another night with another person. That he was number 230 (don't ask him where that number comes from, he doesn't know) when Tony was his first. But with every kiss and every look and every touch, Tony assures him that this isn't like that. This is special, not just to Steve, but to Tony too — he can really see it in his eyes — and the way that Tony seems to cherish what's happening as much as he does. How he lets Steve insist that they go slow. How they both seem to want to remember all of this forever.
But there's also a second reason Steve wants to go slow, and it comes up in the moments when Steve is scared. It's not that he's scared of everything that feels so absolutely new, even if split seconds of fear flash through his eyes on occasion. In those moments, his fear is always mixed with a heavy sense of anticipation, so Tony can always tell that he wants to keep going. Instead, when it comes to being scared, a huge majority that fear comes through when he's worried about hurting Tony. Every time they've kissed in the past or made out against a wall, Steve's had time to process and control his movements. He's never been in true danger of getting so lost in the moment that he forgets his own strength — but this is different. The closer they come the more he realizes that he might not be able to have control, and the thought that he might accidentally hurt Tony as a result isn't something he knows how to handle.
He's hurt him too much before, which is why Steve would rather deny himself everything before hurting Tony again, especially during a moment like this. But through it all, Tony reassures him that it's alright. Especially when inevitably, Steve helps pull the shirt over Tony's head and he remembers the bruising on Tony's side and the fact that he has a broken rib right now — and the concern he had earlier comes flooding right up to the surface. But again, they're so far and so close already and Tony makes it very clear that it's alright, that he wants to keep going, that Steve won't hurt him, and it manages to assure him enough to keep going. It doesn't even occur to Steve that sometimes, pain could be a good thing in times like this, that Tony might actually like it if he was a little rougher with him. Maybe some other time.
In those final moments, the tension between holding back and wanting to let go entirely end up making everything feel that much more intense. Tony will be able to notice it too, the inner conflict that seems to be brewing inside Steve, whenever he feels how forcefully Steve might grab onto his hand, the pillow, his hips, his back, his thighs — it's always right on the edge of being painful, or leaving a bruise, because whenever Steve reacts without a filter, his grip is so much firmer, his hold is so much tighter, and the way he presses is so much more powerful than your average person. In a way, they're little glimpses into what could be, how things could feel, if that's what they wanted one day. But it's not what Steve wants today. Which is why always, on cue, Steve immediately softens his hold every time something like that happens. Forceful to soft, over and over again.
Because despite how much their surroundings have changed, for Steve, the purpose of being intimate with someone will never change. This isn't happening because of lust or desire — although he can't deny that he feels both of those things. But in the end, Steve asked Tony to show him how to go further, because Steve treats this as an act of expression — of love and trust and everything he's feeling so strongly for Tony right now. Maybe one day, when they've been steady for awhile, intimacy can be about sex or helping each other feel something incredible. But tonight, as cheesy as it sounds, Steve feels in his heart that when they finally melt into each other, all of this has been about love — making it, expressing it, cherishing it — and all the things that come with it. How he'd give almost anything to protect Tony forever. To always fight for him, and for them, in the worst of situations. To be here for him, when he needs comfort. To still be here for him, even when Tony doesn't. To prove to Tony that he can trust him with his body, just like Steve is telling him now that he trusts Tony with his.
Finally, when it's over, when they're tangled up with each other, glistening and forever breathless beneath the sheets, Steve can't help but curl his body around Tony's, holding him, kissing him, nuzzling him, and brushing his fingers though Tony's hair. He knows that he's never felt this comfortable in his entire life, and that if he wanted, right now both of them could drift softly into sleep. But there's just one last thing Steve wants Tony to know — because he remembers the way Tony looked earlier, back in the living room, and how self-conscious he'd been about his body. He'd seen glimpses of it again, just a few minutes ago, and he wants Tony to know that that he has nothing to be self-conscious about.
"Tony," he whispers, like sweet nothings into his ear. "I've always known you were beautiful. All of you." A few fingers rake through Tony's wavy curls. "Your body." He pauses there, to kiss him again, and to give the phrase time to settle in, before he continues. "Your mind." Steve nuzzles his nose against the back of Tony's neck. "And your heart." Beautiful. And this time, the word itself doesn't feel out of place. It feels perfect.

And god, the way that Steve touches him has a way of making him come undone. He can't get enough of that, either, and when he notices that Steve hesitates the moment that he sees the bruises on his side, he wastes no time in assuring him that it's okay. That he wants this. If anything, he just holds onto him a little tighter, as if encouraging Steve to do the same with him, because he doesn't want to stop. He wants him to hold him tighter, to not hold back, to make him his. Please, his quiet moans say as he moves with Steve and takes his lips in his, please make me yours. Steve may not want to hurt him, but Tony absolutely loves how it feels when he slips just enough to let himself grip on a little tighter than usual. The sounds of pleasure that escape Tony's throat make it obvious that it's okay, that he should keep going - please keep going.
That sensation, along with everything he's feeling for him, feel like they're pushing him to an edge, and Tony does what he can to bring Steve along with him. He knows this night will be memorable because it's his first time, but he also wants him to enjoy this. To know how much Tony wants him, how perfect this is, how amazing this can feel. He wants Steve to enjoy it as much as possible because he has waited long enough to discover how this feels, and every touch, every thrust, every kiss is intended to make him feel as good as Steve is making him feel.
By the time they're tangled together, Tony doesn't feel the aftermath from the fight in the Commissary in any way. He's drowning in bliss, especially as Steve curls his body around him, and Tony hooks a leg with his so they can be completely joined together. He already knows that in the morning he's going to have a hard time leaving, because he already wants to just spend all day with him in bed, but he knows it's wishful thinking. So, instead, he just holds onto him a little tighter. He savors every way that Steve is kissing him and brushing his hair back, and Tony let's out a quiet, happy hum when Steve says his name.
He's left speechless, though, when he tells him he's beautiful. When he takes the time to tell him in every which way he thinks he's beautiful, and...Tony moves only so he can roll over to face him. He keeps himself as close to Steve as possible, because he doesn't want to leave this spot in his arms, but he needs to do this.
Because, as he rolls over to face him, it's not just to look at him. In a way, he's also letting him see him - the scars, the reactor, the physical remnants of fights and occasions when he has fought for his life. Those markings that he hates, he's letting Steve see them, and this time he doesn't shy his eyes away. Instead, he just gives him a small smile before kissing him.
I love you. The words spring up to his lips again, but he doesn't say them. Not verbally, anyway; once again, he lets the soft kiss he's giving Steve say them for him. He says it by closing the proximity between Steve and his physical flaws, and when he pulls back, it's only so he can rest his forehead gently against Steve's as he idly runs his fingertips along his back while he keeps his arm wrapped around his waist.
"I'm so lucky to have you," he whispers softly, his eyes closing. It's not the three little words that keep hanging from his tongue, but it's not a lie. He's so lucky to have him, and as sleep begins to claim him, it already feels like he's dreaming because this is perfect. Being here with him, wrapped in each other like this - there's nothing better.
