Daycycle 122 [ January 15 - January 21]

daycycle 122

[Jan 15 - Jan 21]

[OOC Plotting for this Dacycle can be found here.]

Early, Early Morning [0200 - 0400]
At approximately 0200, several explosive devices planted in Technical Services by PURGE will detonate, damaging several memobanks. In a rush to prepare for the morning upload several Technicians will mistakenly put the wrong memories in the wrong banks. They will catch their mistake before the final upload, but as a result several memories will now be shared across different alpha citizens' consciousnesses. These memories will be experienced as dreams and characters will retain knowledge of them when they wake.

Memory Swap Pairs
  • Adam Parrish - Derek Hale
  • Zatanna Zatara - Oliver Queen
  • Steve Rogers - Ronan Lynch
  • Katniss Everdeen - Matt Murdock
  • Morgana LeFey - Tony Stark
  • Clint Barton - Allison Argent
  • Isabelle Lightwood - Lydia Martin
  • Buffy Summers - Barry Allen
  • Emma Swan - Parker
  • Cisco Ramon - Gracie Cannell
  • Natasha Romanoff - Jack Harkness
  • Primrose Everdeen - Alcide Herveaux

Room 1101 will be woken up at 1200 when a squadron of Internal Security Gray Ops come to arrest Bucky Barnes for treason. He will be led away at gun point and his roommates, Ronan Lynch, Adam Parrish and Oliver Queen will be immediately taken into IntSec for questioning. They will be questioned about the activities of their former roommate for several hours before being sedated and returned to their room before 0500. Bucky's roommates will not remember his arrest or their questioning when they wake, though they may feel the lingering active effects of the sedative for several hours into their day.

The memory of Bucky Barnes having ever been present in Alpha will be erased with varying degrees of success from all those he came into contact with.

Early Morning [0800 - 0900]All Troubleshooters Report for Duty

No Specials will be selected for a mission today.

Morning & Afternoon [0900 - 1600]Service Firm Positions
All Troubleshooters not assigned a mission should report to their Service Firm for their daily duties.

At 0900 it will be discovered that the shooter from Steve Roger's assassination attempt has, ironically, been assassinated along with her guards in Armed Forces the night before. The letters mod will be left written in the shooter's blood along her cell wall.

Evening [1600 - 2200]Citizen Improvement
All Alpha citizens are encouraged to better themselves through Alpha’s wide variety of educational, entertainment and cultural opportunities offered each evening. Attending these sanctioned events are not mandatory, but is highly encouraged by The Computer. Citizens choosing not to take advantage of these opportunities, have a growing number of other options available to them in how to spend their hard earned credits and free time.

Tonight’s event will be at 1900 in the Commissary and will be overseen by Clint Barton. Izzy Lightwood from Medical Services has been assigned to assist him in giving a demonstration on basic first aid and wound care.

Alpha Curfew Restrictions
All Alpha citizens should be in their quarters within the Wagon Wheel by 2200, unless they’ve been given permission from a GREEN or higher clearance level citizen. Sleeping Aid gas is dispelled each night in the Wagon Wheel at 2200 to assist citizens in getting a productive sleeping period.

Confession Booths
There are hundreds of confession booths available around Alpha Complex if a citizen would like to communicate directly with the computer. Please use these confession booths to report mission statuses, report treason or terrorist acts, unregistered mutants, confess your trespasses against Alpha Complex, request propaganda or speak with Your Friend, The Computer, at any time.

morning

Banshee. Woman in white. Mourning spirit. Fairy.

You don't get through training as a shadowhunter not having studied various mythology...even if it's not all strictly applicable. Banshees aren't a sort of downworlder that Izzy has experience with, but she can't say with complete certainty that they don't exist back home. What's more important, though, is that the redhead who she has a few things in common with...the one to give her advice on dealing with 'Friend Computer' is a banshee. Izzy doesn't have a problem with it, in the least. What is confusing is the fact that the other woman doesn't understand how her powers work.

The images have all sort of streamlined into a loop now with one thing leaning into the next... Lydia telling someone that she doesn't know hot it works, mixed with her speaking to a record player, and with the various times she screamed mixed in. Izzy didn't just watch these things, though. It was visceral. She felt the other woman's frustration, resistance, and the struggle with what she was and how to actually use it in a way that could help her friends. And the uncontrollable and overwhelming urge, need to scream at times. Pus, the friend that she lost. When Izzy first wakes up it's startling and even bordering on suffocating....being pressed in on by someone elses' memories having hit her while she slept.

Izzy's really good at putting up a good front, so she doesn't miss any beats; she puts her orange jumpsuit and makes herself look as presentable as she can with what she's currently got to work with (braiding her hair carefully into something she considers at least semi-pretty) and then she's off toward commisary. Still. Lydia's on her mind, and Izzy can't help the sympathy she feels for the other woman. As a Lightwood she was trained by Hodge and others to be sure that she understood not only how to fight, and what she was physically capable of, but how to utilize the runes that nephilim are capable of. Lydia, though, didn't have that and it reminds her of her friend Clary, which only makes her miss home a little more than usual, despite the plans she's made here to try and better the place.....because who knows how long she's stuck here.

The familiar orange level is a welcome sight that can distract her from banshees, friends, and thinking more than she really needs to this morning. "Morgana!" Izzy calls out before speeding up to catch up with the other, taller woman, her smile in place. "Morning...or is it?" The petite woman corrects herself, right brow quirking upward curiously, taking in the general...lip worried between her teeth and going out on a limb after the night that she had.

Walking to the commissary is so familiar she does it almost without a thought. She's supposed to take care, she knows, after all of the attacks on Specials which day by day seemed to only increase in number, but she can't help but let her mind wander as she flips her PDC in her hand.

Her name stops her dead in her tracks and she turns to find Izzy, which brings out a genuine smile, there was something about the other woman that always lifted her spirits. She was as quick on her feet as she could be sharp with her tongue and was kind as well. A rare but much-appreciated combination. Even if Morgana still wasn't sure what to make of the half angel thing.

'That's what we're told,' she said flipping her PDC again so the little clock was visible before she gently nudged Izzy's shoulder with her own. 'Did you get much sleep?'

This place wasn't a good look on anyone, but something about Izzy seemed a little off, less smoothed over than usual. Maybe there was just something in the sleeping gas and it had made them all a bit goofy, it was hard to tell.

Amusement crosses Izzy's face, the corners of her mouth pulling upward and a quick laugh escaping. In Alpha Complex whether or not it is actually morning is something that people could actually debate because nobody has a damn clue as to whether or not anything the Computer, and the trickle down minions, is truthful. "And we must trust Friend Computer." Izzy chimes in before grinning and bumping the other woman back with her own shoulder.

The question that Morgana gets out definitely causes Izzy a momentary pause, mentally. Usually the sleeping gas makes it all just...dead blackness for Izzy. Last night, however, she got not just a simple dream to break up the normal complete shutdown, but she got what she's sure are Lydia's memories based on everything that she heard, felt, and all of it. Did her friend experience something similar, though?

"It was kind of restless, unlike normal. Really...vivid." Izzy chooses her words carefully, as she's become accustomed to doing around here. She really doesn't want to be hauled in for treason because she's already had more than enough close calls. Though, she can't exactly remember why she was pulled into the interrogations, other than it being about over people...luckily. "What about you? You have a...weird night? Might make me feel better if it wasn't just me." Izzy jokes, and yet Morgana has here attention because the petite shadowhunter is definitely curious.

There's a mild demeanour that most of the time Morgana has learned to keep in public places. It doesn't pay to be too passionate when your true interests ran counter to that of the entity supposedly keeping an eye on every waking moment of your day, it didn't pay to be too much of anything aside from loyal and obedient in this place.

In spite of all this, the easy look painted on her face began to slip as she pieced together exactly what Izzy was trying to ask her before she forced back a smile.

'Yes,' it's a short answer because there are simply too many people around, and perhaps more importantly, she was sure the cameras actually worked in this sector. Morgana had many tutors since she arrived and truth be told she still didn't understand half as much of the tech as she felt she should but she did know one thing: those cameras were doom in a little box, should you have the misfortune to chat around one that actually worked.

God only knows enough people were going for specials of late without enraging their "friend" the computer. 'Were you going for breakfast, or would you like to stretch your legs a bit before? We have time for either, or both before the briefing.'

Either would work, it was safer in one of the smaller, nearby corridors where she knew the cameras had malfunctioned... someone had told her long ago and they had served her since, but the commissary was loud enough and busy enough that little seemed to escape there either. It took far too much restraint to keep from blurting out and asking her then and there what she had dreamed. Had it been Tony? Had she seen another special in her dreams? What was going on this time?

And more importantly, how had it happened?!

Izzy's not sure whether yes is good or bad, in this instance. If Morgana had a night that was anything like her's....well then something is going on and there's a cause to it all. If she didn't then maybe Izzy's just starting to go insane in this place. The petite shadowhunter definitely hopes that it's the first option and not the second, but crazy people generally don't know that they're approaching insanity, so it's really a toss up. She's sure it's the first, though. There have been too many different things that have happened here for this one to really be overlooked as just coincidental. Things don't happen in Alpha without purpose, or at least that's the way that it seems, anyway.

"I was heading for breakfast too, but I could go for stretching my legs before that." Izzy's curiosity, the brain that she usually keeps in check, is already churning and taking in the yes that Morgana gave. She doesn't have enough details to go very far, but speculation on the little she has...and what she dreamed about. Well, considering there's a cloning process and everything it's definitely something that the computer, and it's minions, have done. That's the guess at least. And if it wasn't done purposefully that'd mean that it was an accident.

Or maybe it was a little more, considering the issues that have popped up in this place? It's hard to really know with such little information at the moment. So, that only solidifies Izzy's need to actually talk to her friend about what she dreamed about....what information that she's reserving because of the cameras.

"You want to pick the route?" Izzy asks, carefully, a forced smile on her face for the benefit of their all-seeing cameras. She's been an orange level just long enough to sort of adapt, but she hasn't learned all of the spots...not like she has down in the morgue. She'll get there, but right now she's much more concerned about the previous night than anything else.

There were few skills that translated from Camelot to Alpha Complex, but the most useful and apparently unaccounted for by the Computer was her fondness for treason and her ability to get away with it.

At least, it had worked so far.

One of her earliest and fuzziest memories of the Complex was being shown which cameras worked and which were just safe little boxes with flashing red lights so it wasn't hard to lead Izzy off to the side, walking easily like it really was just a stroll with a friend.

'Just over this way,' it wasn't far from all the noise and chatter, but the corridor was empty and as soon as they were both out of sight Morgana couldn't stop herself from blurting out: 'Did you dream about someone else because I think I had Tony's dreams or memories or... something unless I have a bright red flying suit of armour someone forgot to tell me about. Or a lot of dancing girls.'

Izzy almost smiles, just because she can appreciate the lack of patience. She isn't one for mysteries or waiting for answers that she could get right away when she can. Izzy doesn't smile, though, just because the subject that Morgana's question pertains to....well, it seems pretty damn serious. Manipulating with memories in any way, shape, or form....that's pretty big no matter whether it's done magically or in some other way. Izzy settles against the wall, making sure that she's hidden and relaxing, ever so slightly.

Izzy does pause, though, before she answers as her right eyebrow wanders upward at how quickly her friend spills what she dreamed of. It only confirms Izzy's suspicions, truth be told. And it's not exactly a good thing. "Lydia." Izzy offers, automatically. "I dreamed about Lydia's life. I knew it was her because the name and I just...recognized enough to put the pieces together."

Now, though, Izzy does offer an off-handed smile and a reassuring look. "I'm positive that you don't have a bright red suit that you can fly in. Or dancing girls. We don't know for sure that they're actual memories, but it seems pretty likely at the moment just to wager a guess." Then the sigh escapes, though. Because this...memory stuff has a lot of baggage that goes along with it and a lot of things that might be connected to it. Plus, it's speculation without absolute confirmation right about now. "The question is what's the purpose of the memories being shared like this when they tell everyone they're 'glitches'?" Izzy asks before hopping to the next question. "Or is it something that wasn't done on purpose and what exactly is it that they did? Because either way this only proves that the memories that people have aren't glitches. Otherwise how would they be able to be shared?"

Izzy sums up her thoughts precisely and with intelligence, ticking the points off mentally and doing her best not to be too impatient. This is, after all, too important to rush through completely.

Strange dreams were old bedfellows of Morgana's and yet she couldn't shake the unsettling feeling that this was so much worse. If it was just her she could've easily passed it off as one of her moments, maybe even a touch of a vision, but if Izzy had seen Lydia...

It couldn't have just been them, why would it? It might well be that all the Specials had been given strange dreams, but why? Could the Computer really just add to their minds like that? All in the span of a night?

So many questions raced through her head, and before she knew it Izzy was smiling at her a little again and Morgana had to blink, barely catching her words.

'That's good because I'd rather not fall from the sky again.' she gave Izzy a small smile in return, 'they do seem real, it felt different to my visions.' There was less chaos, less fear - though she had been terrified in a couple of them.

'I can't imagine the Computer wanting us to bond over our supposedly fake memories.' she shook her head slightly. 'Our dear Friend Computer has been known to mess up, sometimes the data... box... things do something or get too full or... whatever. I had to help fix one once, a long time ago. That was a confessional, it was overloaded and drawing a lot of power. It could be something like that, malfunctioning?' If ever she had sounded uncertain in front of Izzy, it was now, because no matter her careful watching and willingness to learn she was still centuries behind. Even hazarding a guess probably wasn't worth the air it took to speak it.

'Truthfully, the why is less concerning to me than the fact it could be done at all.'

"You should be safe, at least for the moment." Izzy reassures before nodding. Her memories, or rather Lydia's, felt completely real too. And that seems to be because they are real, at least to her. Her experience as Lydia, feeling the fear and the screams rip from her throat were too visceral to just be dreams. And she doesn't know that much about the other woman, not enough to create a cast of characters and dream as her. And with Morgana...why would she dream about falling from the sky in a red suit considering her own imagination, and all? "My dream, Lydia's memory, was visceral; so, it feels like they're things that happened, we got the sensations, feelings, and everything attached to the memory it looks like."

Of course, that's just a guess, but it feels like a pretty good one in their current situation. There have been some weird things that have happened in this place. This might just be another in a long line. "What sort of visions do you have?" The question escapes, even as Izzy's mind bounces, putting pieces together and considering everything carefully.

"Me either, they're supposed to be 'glitches'." Izzy rolls her eyes, but can't help but think Morgana might be onto something with her thought process. Her nod causes the braid to shift, but Izzy isn't too concerned about it, no matter how loose it is in places. "It definitely could be a malfunction, or even a mistake. I mean, we're supposedly clones, which means that there's more tech involved with how we function...supposedly anyway...than would be normal. A virus, broken component, or anything could make a difference if you take that into account. In theory, it's not completely impossible that something was done wrong either, some wires were crossed or some data was exported incorrectly, and we were given other people's memories...by accident." Izzy talks it all through, mainly for herself, but knowing that it's more than possible IT guys sometimes make mistakes...why not people in the cloning process responsible for their memories, which would in-turn be connected to their brains and everything?

It's strange to think of herself as being different, like this, but in theory...for Izzy it makes sense.

"I never put much stock in the cloning thing here, but...it's definitely possible, considering I don't even recognize all of the technology here." The shadowhunter's voice is more confident than her friend's, despite not having absolute certainty about anything in this situation.

'Not many, not in the Complex,' the lack of visions was the one blessing in this place. 'After I minded the mutant woman some weeks ago it felt like they were edging back but they left again. At home they were... chaotic, terrifying, about death and doom and almost always right. I would wake up screaming in the middle of the night. Most of the dreams were about Arthur.' but there was no Arthur here, and no magic burned at her veins in the dark of night.

'If I still had the visions we might have avoided Steve being shot.' Maybe. Steve had said he would listen to her, but the boy had a way of doing stupid things no matter what. Unless she'd been able to grab the shooters early it would likely have ended just the same. That didn't stop her feeling guilty, or the annoying feeling of helplessness that kept trying to drown her. 'Though, if I still had my powers I would be a danger to others since I never learned to control them and it's more than visions.'

Morgana's eyes caught on Izzy's braid as it moved, still listening as she spoke about what might have gone wrong, but strangely entranced for a few moments as she watched her before she managed to shake herself out of it, ignoring the desire to ask Izzy if she might fix her hair for her. After all, Morgana's wasn't in the best state today, either.

'But I've been here for months, and you've been here for some time too... even if we suppose we are clones, we go to sleep on cots barely better than ones from my time. There's no interfaces in our rooms, how could they possibly change us all?' then after a brief pause she added. 'The other day I woke up and suddenly things seemed a bit foggy, like I'd forgotten things... maybe this isn't the first time they've tried.'

Izzy isn't surprised about the lack of visions in this place, mainly because she doesn't have access (or ability) to use any of her own runes. This place...stamps out any sense of uniqueness as best it can; this place makes everyone mundane from what Izzy's experienced since she started off in this place. So, hearing about the 'mutant woman'...despite having heard the word at times, Izzy can't help the lift of her eyebrow. "You minded a mutant woman, hm?" She's curious, she can't help it. "So, being near her....started to make your visions bubble up....interesting." Izzy notes, mainly to herself.

The way that Morgana talks about her visions is a little sad. r doesn't have anything quite like that, but she can't help but think that if warlocks can control all of the powers they have...what her friend has is controllable too. "Sounds like they sucked, but it sounds like they were meant to warn you almost." Warnings could be good, but as a Shadowhunter, Izzy is very much about learning control and what you're capable of, but the fact of the matter is that you can't beat yourself up about something that you couldn't have made a difference with. "You don't have visions now, though, so you can't feel bad for that. Steve bounced back quickly." Izzy speaks kindly, moving closer and reaching out to put her hand on the other girl's bicep, squeezing comfortingly.

"The medical capabilities here made a difference for him, and he's fine." The reassurance is plain in her voice, and she means for it to be. "Besides, if you can't control them whose to say that you would have seen him? You might have seen something else." Izzy shrugs, dropping her hand and smiling. "Maybe one day you'll learn to control them, though. Sounds like one hell of a gift."

It's not something Izzy would be much help with, but she can imagine the possibilities...and when a person is born with power, of any kind, and they can harness it and use it for good it's never a bad thing. And, for Izzy, her friend is obviously good. She doesn't doubt that.

The silence that Izzy lapses into isn't about confusion, or even about anything bad. She's thinking as a result of what Morgana says. The other woman's right, however, she's leaving out a few distinct possibilities. "Wirelessly in some fashion." Izzy says after a moment, looking up, her face seriously "If they're doing it through sending signals, of some kind, that are received in our brains they wouldn't need anything more than some sort of implant. I can tell you from personal experience that I haven't seen anything like that, but I haven't had any autopsies that needed me to thoroughly examine the brain either." Izzy speaks, realizing that she could have a point or she could be speculating like a nutjob. "I could also be completely wrong on this, though. But...I've had the foggy experience too...remembering an event but not...a person from said event. Like when the hospital was taken over...I helped.....someone. No idea who."

Izzy shrugs, really having no definitive answers right now. "I don't know anything for sure, obviously, because it's all speculation on my part, but if they can clone us and put our memories in.....why can't they remove them....or accidentally share them?"

'My charges name was Priskilla Linos, the computer said she had "polymorphism". An unregistered shapeshifter all the way up in Blue. It was back around 102, the day before Lydia attempted to teach me what Pizza was in Steves apartment.' That lesson, at least, had been a success, unlike so many other things of late. 'There was definitely something, being around Priskilla. Almost like pins and needles under my skin, but I haven't felt it since. It wasn't just me, either.' Steve had felt something, she was sure he had said as much, and Steve's gifts weren't magical in nature.

'I must have spurned Apollo, then, because I never did get anyone to listen to me. Didn't matter how many times I was right, or how vulnerable I made myself to try to make them believe.' she let out a soft sigh, almost resigned. 'Magic, in Camelot, is the highest of treason, second only to attacking the King and his line. Even for the Kings ward. Maybe especially for the Kings ward. I was given potions to try to stave off the dreams and they rarely worked. Leaving was impossible too.' it was hard to leave when the King was willing to execute dozens of people until you were returned, who had no greater sin than vaguely, possibly being in league with the Druids.

Even though her story was sad, she wasn't trying for sympathy, there simply wasn't a nicer way to frame anything from before. Especially not in contrast to the easy friendship she found in the Complex, a place which should've been horribly miserable and yet here, tucked away from the cameras she had a friend. A half-angel, no less, who so easily reached out to comfort her. Morgana's fingers gently pressed over Izzy's and for a second her smile was easier, more genuine.

'I couldn't control them, but my visions had a fondness for dumb blonds who love danger.' which meant, more than likely she would've dreamt of Steve if the computer hadn't taken her magic.

But she also could've set Barry on fire.

Nothing in this place was easy.

When Izzy continued, confusion and uncertainty quickly returned to her features. She knew enough of the words, somewhere along the line someone had made sure of that but the concepts were still so strange to her. She had been told time and again that this place wasn't magical, but now it was blatantly meddling with their minds, perhaps even unintentionally. She supposed that the science must be sound for so many of them to understand but it still felt beyond impossible.

One thing does catch her out though. 'Autopsies?'

Izzy takes the information that Morgana has for her and digests it bit by bit. Shapeshifter, which is definitely magic (mutant according to this place) caused Morgana to feel something, anything, is sort of a big and telling detail. Why else would the other woman have had that feeling, unless it was in her head? And Izzy highly doubts that. The shadowhunter nods her understanding of the information that's been shared, more of her braid managing to weasel it's way out with the movement (not that she cares all that much at the moment). "So, being around someone who had....unlocked or at least gained access to their powers had an effect on you. It definitely supports the theory of proximity, then." Even if that's only a small amount of support and, as of yet, untested.

Izzy can't imagine what it was like for Morgana back where she's actually from, even with the little bits and pieces that she shares. Having people refuse to listen to what you're trying to tell them about your visions....and magic, what Morgana seems to be blessed with, being treasonous. Iz is glad that it wasn't her home because she knows that she wouldn't have made it well there. Honestly, it's amazing that Morgana is the strong woman that she seems to be given what she was stuck in. "People are afraid of what they can't explain." The petite woman shrugs. "That doesn't mean that you spurned anyone. You come from a time where people's minds were closed. To their own detriment."

Izzy doesn't pity her friend, but she can't help but care, and encourage her in her own way. It is definitely possible that she could unlock her abilities here. And if she does, Izzy just hopes that Morgana gets the chance to attempt to control them. With support, which she seems to have more of here, it may be easier.

Izzy laughs, a grin spreading across her face. "Well that is a vote for visions of everyone's favorite, reckless blond guy." Izzy jokes. Really, though, there isn't a guarantee. And that is enough that, in Izzy's mind, there's no reason for Morgana to feel bad. Intelligence could have gotten the same information more efficiently if there were people put after sniffing the information out, after all.

Finally, Izzy stalls, though, looking at her friend and getting a big reminder of just where the other woman came from. She's not sure there's a great way to explain what an autopsy is, but she's not going to leave the other girl clueless. "Autopsies are...examining the bodies after people have died, so that we can figure out exactly why they died. Whether it was natural or whether it was murder, or something in between."

'Maybe we could pile them all in a room and get our... extra talents back for good.' It was partially a joke, but she couldn't help but wonder if it would actually work. One had brought back her spark, maybe enough of them nearby could turn that spark into a (hopefully not too literal) flame.

Perhaps then they could be free. Barry had said he had a mission on the surface, and he had come back knowing her name and everyone else so it would seem he had come back whole. It was possible if enough of them could get their abilities back that they could take over, or at the very least they could leave. They might never make it back to their own "true" homes, but in her case there was little sin to that. Morgana would only miss Gwen, and maybe Arthur.

'It wasn't a matter of fear in Camelot. The King just changed his mind, he sent maybe a quarter of his people to their deaths. Magic was worse than being a murderer, even if you only used it to help knead your bread or entertain your children. It wasn't always that way. Not at all until the Queen died in childbed.' She had been too small to remember that, but her father had told her plenty of stories in secret, sometimes when he was sure she was fast asleep he would whisper to her of how he had grown up and how he hoped to right it all so she could have some of the self-same experiences even if he had to send himself to hell to manage it.

Gorlois had died long before he'd been able to do much of anything other than make sure she survived.

There's something about the easy warmth of Izzy's laughter that helped to soothe out Morgana's worries, just a little, she might be right and her dreams could've passed right over Steve. Maybe. It wasn't like she could do anything about it now, regardless.

'Oh.' Morgana replies, but her eyes quickly light up. 'Gaius, our physician, when people are found he looks them over to see what has happened. Like once we had a plague where the dead were white as a sheet but their veins were so blue... Gaius examined them to try to work out what was happening. There was a monster in the water, though Uther decided sweet Guinevere was a witch and tried to have her executed. Just because her father got better. Gwen wouldn't know how to do witchcraft if you dumped her in a library of spellbooks.' excitement turned quickly to quietly festering anger over the accusations toward her friend, but it was no matter, not here, and barely a breath later she added:

'Is that what you mean? Though I can't imagine how looking at a body would help examine a bra----- You cut them open?'

Izzy grins, a small smile escaping her mouth at the suggestion. "Simple, but it could, potentially be effective." She teases the other woman with a bit of a wink. Technically she might be right, though, despite the joking nature of her comment. The problem with that, though, is that one would need to know a way to find those with extra-abilities to get them all together.

And even then...the question is where they would go from there? The real answers that they need seem so illusive, still. Izzy can't help but want to know how the computer clones them, if it's real, and the information that the Computer keeps hidden from them to keep them under control. That, to her, seems very much like an important thing while they're stuck here. It's one of the few ways to get answers. Even then, though, Izzy's not sure if it's possible or what the outcome would be.

"Then he's an exception to that rule, but it doesn't make him any better...just impressing his personal prejudices on his people." Izzy says, without hesitation. She can think of others who have done the same. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon for people in power. She's seen some Clave members do the same. Izzy likes Morgana, though, so maybe her vision of things is colored. She isn't particularly worried about that, though.

As her friend starts to light up, telling her in an almost excited tone about Gaius, Izzy can't help but smile back, just as easily as before, following it up, shortly thereafter, with a roll of her eyes. "Of course he did." Izzy's tone grows dry, showing just exactly what she thinks of that. "Because god forbid a woman manage to help someone from your time period and it not just be common sense, or knowing a little something about medical treatment."

Fortunately, for the petite shadowhunter loses the dry sarcasm relatively quickly at the way that Morgana trips over her question, amusement pulling at her mouth. "Yes, it's what I mean, and yes I cut them open. Gaius sounds like the early version of what I do now, though. We can do a lot more now than we could in your time because science has advanced so much."
