Steve glances over when he hears Izzy's voice, grinning when he spots her in her dress. His eyes seem to say a silent thank you for bidding. For some reason, Steve hadn't actually considered that any of his fellow Specials would bid on him. And with Izzy ... well, he still remembers that giddy day in the hospital corridor, but there hadn't suffered any type of awkward fallout, so right now, he can't help but smile.
A few more bids come from all over the room, too fast for him to track-
"One thousand!"
The bid is repeated faster than Steve can find Lulu in the crowd again, but he does, as Jack keeps trying to pander the crowd to get him even higher. Just based on the color of her dress alone, he knows that she can afford it, but there's something about how nervous she is that he finds endearing.
"Ma'am," he says, giving her another nod. She should be close enough to the stage to hear him.
