Adam has no idea if that's actually true or not, whether attorney client privilege is a thing here. Somehow, he feels that it might just be something Matt thinks is true but isn't. The Computer doesn't seem the type to accept secrets of any kind. And as a Computer, it probably wouldn't understand that the privilege isn't really a secret being kept.

But he nods anyway. Because he feels like he's done something here to help Ronan if things go South. And Matt is so nice to him even though he barely knows him and doesn't have to be nice at all.

"Thanks. I'll uhm... let you get back to the party." Because yes, even though Adam isn't here to party, that doesn't mean Matt isn't. He mutters another 'thanks' and goes to find Ronan again.
