She reaches out to him and he absolutely comes undone on the inside. He grins and dips his head a bit. He has no idea what it is about her that he finds so appealing. But true to form, he's fallen hard and fast and is wanting something he can't have. Such is the story of his life. One thing can be said for Alcide, he never does anything halfway, especially when it comes to romantic relationships.

"Good, cause I'd like to stay on Derek's good side." He says, mostly as a joke since he thinks him and Derek are okay now. Alcide pushed it and talked it out with him in the same way he had with Buffy. He doesn't like things just festering without acknowledging them.

And truthfully, it's a joke because his wanting to spend time with Buffy has nothing to do with Derek or Zee or anyone else. It's all about her. "But mostly I just wanna dance with a pretty girl."
