Most of the time, it hadn't mattered much to Buffy. She'd gotten smashed twice fairly early on, once she'd been drugged and ended up a sacrifice to a giant snake. The second time had been on magical beer and she'd turned into cave!Buffy. It had been enough for her to want to stay sober most of the time. She'd only taken Spike up on his offer of drinking an entire bottle of Jameson because she'd had a really bad day. Of course, she'd ended up having to fight nerds. Historically, Buffy and drunk don't go well together. She's hoping tonight will change that trend, if she decides to get drunk that is.

His suggestion draws a bright smile out of her. She reaches up to tuck her hair behind one ear and nods. "I'd like that. A lot and no, I don't think our dates will mind." On a whim, she reaches out to touch Alcide's forearm, slow in drawing her hand back.
