It had been foolish to think that Natasha would be distracted by some slick dance move, but sure enough she isn't, and Tony chuckles under his breath when she points out he's full of shit. "Yeah, well. What else is new?"

He says it casually and with that billion dollar smile that Tony is well known for. It still throws him off, that someone that isn't Pepper or Rhodey or Happy know the signs of when he's not okay, but he's learning to roll with it as best as he can. Not that it has helped him admit anything by any means, but at least he's not squirming under Natasha's gaze by this point. His smile almost looks real, but it's mainly because, as much as Natasha can make him squirm, he's just glad he didn't lose her like he feared he did after the fiasco with the Accords.

Her question makes him tilt his head slightly as he actually gives his answer some thought, his eyes briefly scanning the room as if to remind himself of everything he lost by coming here.

"I miss my clothes," he admits. "God, I miss my closet. And the cars, and my robots. My labs. My bar, definitely. The rest, though? Eh, I can do without. I'm actually not minding the not being recognized everywhere I go. I'd say I'm glad for the new privacy, but I don't know how accurate that is."

Mainly because nothing here is private, with cameras and eyes and ears everywhere. He hates that, actually, but in a lot of ways he's also used to that. Tony has been monitored since he was born; the only difference is that here he can be charged for treason, whereas back home he'd just end up in some tabloid for weeks at a time.

Shifting his attention from the room back to her, a soft smile of understanding tugs at his lips. "It's that familiarity," he sympathizes quietly. "I felt it when I walked in, too. Like this is something I'm actually used to. Rather than...you know. The rest of the bullshit around here."
