Natasha isn't wrong. Which, let's face it, it's not all that surprising, but Tony's definitely distracted. The worst part is that, even if he knows by what, he can't seem to find a way to get rid of it. So, instead of outright dealing with it or even vocalizing any of it, he's just playing along. Fake it 'til you make it, right? It's a stupid thing to think that something like that could work, but well. Tony's smart in a lot of things, but there are some things that still escape him.

Thankfully Natasha doesn't press about it, although it's pretty obvious that she doesn't believe what he's saying. It makes him let out a sigh mentally, although he tries damn hard to not let it show, because this really hadn't been his intent. He hadn't meant to confuse or even worry Natasha. He's fine. He's always fine, right?

He's fine. Really.

"Of course," he assures with a sort of smirk. As if it's impossible that he could be upset, or that he could need anything. Without another word, he moves to dip her before he smiles as he pulls her close again. "I'm just having some fun tonight. I don't miss the galas from home, but this isn't so bad."
