Another giggle bubbles up when Alcide reflects her statement back at her in the form of a question. "Floaty," she agrees with a big grin. It's actually kind of a nice feeling. Now she understands why adults like their liquor so much. Zatanna feels like nothing in the world matters except exactly what is happening right this minute. Nothing else bothers her at all.
In addition to the fact that she's not a very good dancer as it is, with the intoxication she is even worse and when she feels herself step accidentally on Alcide's foot, Zatanna opens her mouth to apologize only for him to scoop her off the ground entirely, spinning them. Instead of an apology, more laughter escapes her and she ignores the slightly sick feeling that bubbles up in her tummy only to disappear again when he stops spinning. It's not worth acknowledging if it doesn't stick around, right?
"You're going to hurt yourself to get in there? Are you sure that's a good idea? Maybe I should do that and then you could come 'visit' me," she offers. "If you're the one that's going to be looking around, it's no good if you're actually hurt, after all, right?"
