His response, while endearing, is off the mark but Zatanna blames herself for that. She's feeling a little flighty and explaining her thoughts aloud isn't coming as easily as it normally would. She's not really sure how to correct Alcide, because she has a feeling that it's just going to come out as awkwardly adjacent to but not in line with what she's actually thinking.
Her line of thought is more that the people here truly don't understand how memories work because they don't have them. And perhaps the Specials, too, are clones, but whether they are or aren't is largely irrelevant because the fact that they have memories still sets them apart. If the other Alphas don't have those, then of course they don't understand how they work. Of course it sounds to them like a glitch. But instead of trying to explain that now and inevitably failing, Zatanna decides that she'll talk to him about it again when she's feeling less...pleasantly off.
Instead, she smiles and gives his hand a squeeze back. "I feel floaty," she admits in a bubble of giggles as he draws her close enough to dance properly now that they're not stuck with superfluous stuff: his jacket; her empty glass. "How are you gonna get in there?" she asks and she's keeping with him, but maybe she's a little most clumsy on her feet than she normally would be. Typically, Zee's actually very agile. Tonight...well. Not so much.
