Matt knows who Steve is both here and back home. In his world, Steve Rogers is better known as Captain America. Matt had been surprised to find that these Specials got legal defense as well. He hasn't been able to do much to help anyone since he got here and he's excited to get the chance. He's not sure why these arrests are different, but he wants to make the most of this chance and he hopes he can do something to help these Specials.

Matt will take any and all information that Steve (or anyone else) can give him. He's under no delusion that this will be an easy case.

"Oh, I know who you are," Matt says with a smile as he holds out his hand to shake Steve's. "Captain, call me Matt. Please."
