There's so much going on today and Gracie's emotions are equally magnified. She's been over the top happy and friendly today, so glad to see each and every one of her friends. When she'd seen Cisco, that crush she's had on him since he saved her life has turned into something she can't keep to herself, not today.
The dog barking makes Gracie start just a little, her heart racing from both the kissing and the high pitched interruption.
Honestly, without the dog, she'd probably spend the entire afternoon in here with Cisco. She's flustered for a moment, unable to answer his question. She blinks at him then twists to look over her shoulder at the clock. "Oh." Slowly it sinks in. "Oh! Uhm...five minutes ago. I should...I should go." It's obvious by her voice that she doesn't want to go. She reaches up, running her fingers through her hair, trying to smooth it down, trying to put it to rights. She scoots out of his lap and gets to her feet. "I--I'll see you later, right?" She doesn't want this to be a one time thing either. She knows what he means.
