Lydia grins, humming a laugh at that. "Mmm, well...so much for conserving water," she teases, but she can't keep up the playful facade for very long because he's pushing up against her and she can feel the effect this is having on him. She, too, is being effected, a warm dampness collecting between her legs that has nothing to do with the shower they're standing in at the moment. "I think this place will manage with us wasting a little water, though, don't you?"
She looks a little surprised at his offer because, well, she has a lot of hair. Even Lydia isn't a huge fan of washing it. She really only bothers every couple of days and the rest of the time when it starts to get a little greasy, she pulls it up so that no one can tell. The shampoos here leave a lot to be desired and there hadn't been conditioner at all, so trying to get through her nightmare head of wet hair with no condition was something she tended to avoid. She's working to change that, though, and she's got her own beta-testing shampoo and conditioner in the shower so at least Matt won't have to deal with the tangles like she usually does.
A little smile, just this side of shy, tugs at the corners of her mouth. "Okay," she agrees, her fingertips moving up his spine and over his shoulder before cupping his face. When they're alone, she notices that he looks more than usual. He uses the vision implants when there's not much to distract his vision and he can just focus on her, so she doesn't patronize him by putting the shampoo bottle in his hand. Instead, she holds it out to him. "...nobody's ever washed my hair in the shower before. I have a lot of it..." she points out almost warningly. Translation: I'm probably going to wash it when you're done if I feel like you didn't get all of it.
