Yeah, the co-ed thing usually gets people. They always expect to be roomed
by gender. Honestly, Buffy isn't sure how they choose to room
people. In some ways, this very much resembles a social experiment.
However, it doesn't have a lot of the things in it you'd expect in a social
experiment, like any sort of normal environment.
Buffy is pretty pleased with her new room mate as well. It's been she and
Derek since Holtz was promoted and she'd been happy enough with that.
They'd struck up a good friendship.
"No problem," Buffy tells him sincerely. "It's rough here at first, but
you'll learn the ropes soon enough. Derek is our other room mate and he's a
good guy, a good friend."
