Adam knows that in his own strange way, Ronan just told him that he loves him. It makes Adam's heart beat erratically in his chest and the hairs on his arms and the back of his neck tingle as if they briefly stand on end. Ronan has this way of doing this to Adam, making his entire self, not just his mind, feel alive.

"Maybe I've come around to danger too." He says. "It's your fault, really." Yes, Adam just said he loves Ronan too.
