Adam used to be overly obsessed with setting up a path out of Henrietta. That's changed in the last few years back home. His priorities changed. Adam has changed. In the here and now, since that first kiss that seemed like such an every day occurrence even when it wasn't, it's safe to say that Adam has become reasonably obsessed with Ronan too. He's glad that his days here start and end with Ronan.
He smirks when Ronan thanks whatever that there are no flowers here. Adam often wishes for some kind of root system here, a way to glean power from Cabeswater, but he guesses that in this way it's good that nothing grows here. Although he's been wondering if anything can grow, if maybe he could start a green house, get some root system started... and hope.
"You know, obsession can be dangerous. I mean... it's romanticized in lots of literature but it's dangerous. Like driving too fast or falling in love." Adam says, pointing to the minimal space between him and Ronan. "That makes you and me dangerous, us, together. Lucky for me, I think you like danger, Ronan." As weird as it is, this is Adam Parrish flirting. He's horrible at it. But he's trying.
