It's true that it hadn't even occurred to him that the Computer might be at another location. That theory is discouraging, he has to admit. But it doesn't deter him. It just means that he has to think on a smaller scale, as in not taking down the Computer and getting back home. One thing at a time.

"Okay." He nods thoughtfully, one large hand sliding down his face and then pushing back through dark locks to get them away from his face. "Maybe we don't need the main Computer to undo what they did to us, takin' parts of us away, or... dampening those parts. Whatever they did, maybe it's more local, maybe even medical, to make us... less of a threat."

His mind is reeling, thinking of so many things all at once. "We need to think small, one thing at a time." He voices his thoughts because Alcide is exactly what he seems to be. He doesn't keep secrets all that well unless they're a confidence, unless they're someone else's. "We need to get ourselves back. Maybe the medical facilities. They've gotta have somethin' to do with this, right?" It's as good a place to start as any.
