Matt cocks his head a little. He understands the pain of not having friends here, people that know you and understand you. He's made some friends here, but he started out alone. He doesn't really understand her use of the word distinctive, but he gets the point.

His brows shoot up at that. He hadn't expected that and even if he'd known, he wouldn't expect her to confess to being a thief. He wishes he had his hearing. It would be nice to be able to hear her heartbeat right now, to see if confessing that made her anxious because everything else he's getting off her is pride. "Oh. That's...an interesting career field."
