It's probably a good thing to know who you are. Based on the memories
she's been given, she doesn't want to be Katniss Everdeen. She doesn't
strike her as someone worth being, let alone worth knowing. She was never
very nice. Never very good or very smart. She didn't know how to make
friends, nor did she trust people all that much. She was selfish,
constantly acting in a way that would best suit her interest. The only
thing Katniss Everdeen seemed to be good at was killing. And losing
everyone that ever mattered to her.
No, she doesn't want those memories. She doesn't want to be this girl
currently in so much pain. But she doesn't know how else to be or to act
given the glitch. She hates the computer for doing this. If it wants her
to be a good, productive citizen, why give her such painful memories to
cope with?
