Buffy would rather be real than a clone, but she's had a long time to come to terms with the things in her past. She took a long time to do it too. Hopefully, Katniss will have time to learn to deal with her demons as well. Not to go all Aristole-y (yes, she knows who he is) on her, but they can't change who they are; they can only change how they deal with that.

Buffy goes from crouching, to sitting on the floor, her legs crossed. "Because that's part of what I do. It's part of what I've always done. I save people. I've been trying to figure out how to live here, how to cope with here. I think the way for me to do that is to help other people, to help them figure out how to live here." She shrugs a little, smiling a bit at Katniss.

"Maybe you'd like to help me do my job and let me take you to your room?"
