Rolling his eyes, Derek heaves another long suffering sigh. "Right," he replies. If they knew what they were doing, then it wouldn't feel like such a gamble to Derek, he suspects. And maybe they don't release the gas through the whole complex, but Derek doesn't want to find out the hard way if they do.

One would think that once they found the route they needed that actually finding the platform and getting on the correct train would be easy, but one would be wrong. It's still a challenge. Even with the signage all over the place, it's still a jumbled, disorganized mess and Derek wonders if this might be what people with dyslexia feel like all the time, because it feels like he's looking at one thing but reading entirely another.

But, after a few minutes, he thinks he's figured it out. "Come on, I think I got it. Look at all the REDs headed in the same direction," he says, "it's late. They've gotta be trying to get back just like we are. I vote we follow them." Especially since most of the Alphas around here appear to be largely in favor of The Computer and its policies.
