In spite of herself, Lydia laughs a little at the question by reflex. That's fair enough, it makes sense that he doesn't know what it means. Leaning her shoulder against his and tilting her head up to kiss his jaw, she laughs again.

"It means 'before anyone else,'" she giggles, popping another carrot into her mouth. "I don't mind hogging you, for that matter, but I probably shouldn't. Plus, like I said, I've got to give Dick his birthday present. I'm gonna go do that now while he doesn't seem tied up with someone else. So I'll be back to hog you in a little while," she replies and she puts down her plate entirely, leaning in to kiss him again, this time on the cheek. "I'll see you in a bit."

With a gentle touch to his face, fingertips ghosting over his jaw, Lydia takes her leave to go get Dick to give him his gift. She'll catch up with Matt later.
