Steve is caught so off-guard that he doesn't even contemplating the possibility of denying it. Not that he would. But two days ago, he woke up with a terrible headache and a painful memory of him leaving his shield and his country — so technically, saying that he wasn't Captain America wouldn't be a lie. But none of those caveats had time to cross his mind.

Instead, Steve just asks the first question that comes to mind.

"How did you know?" He gives her a look like he's completely perplexed that she's recognized his name. Nearly 90 days ago, he stood up on stage and told everyone here his name. None of them recognized him then, he certainly didn't expect anyone to now.
