Adam can hear Ronan in his mind almost instantly. 'More like Adam and Steve', Ronan would say with a smirk. Adam isn't Ronan though. So he smirks and nods at the biblical reference. Ronan is the more religious of the two of them. Adam is... well, vicariously religious, he supposes.
Their hands keep shaking and Adam realizes how awkward it is to shake hands this long with a pretty girl. He can't tell if she's the one holding on or he is, which is also weird. He's thankful that she takes the blame for it, which probably makes him a despicable person.
"A long time. I live with someone named Ronan Lynch. If you ever need anything, we're pretty handy." Which he realizes is also an awkward thing to say. And really, when he says 'we' he means that he's the handy one. Adam fixes things that need fixing.
