Cisco's only half-listening to the things he "shouldn't touch" because, quite frankly, all machines are delicate if you're not careful and he feels like it'd be kind of a stretch to think that he'd break something. It'd break his heart to bust a machine, after all. He loves big toys like that; Cisco would never hurt one. But all the same, he does note which ones she's indicating so that he can keep a bit more of a distance from them while looking them over, just to be on the safe side.
As uncomfortable as one entrance makes Cisco — what if there's a fire and its outside the door? That's kind of bullcrap, isn't it? — he has to sort of admit that it's a lot less work to watch one door than two. It's starting to seem like this mission is going to be a pretty easy one, even though it's a hellishly long shift. Gabi seems chill, Stiles is cool, this isn't so bad.
He nods, listening to Stiles. It's good information to have, considering. They move through the area and Cisco notices the logins, too. Immediately he wishes Felicity was his partner. No offense to Stiles, but he knows Felicity is the best damn hacker he's ever met. If anybody could get into those stations, it'd be her. Then again, he doesn't know Stiles. Stiles might be just as good. Don't judge, he tells himself.
None of the machinery looks terribly familiar to Cisco, either, but he's observing, taking in everything he can manage. What they look like, the sounds they make, what they appear to do as their function. It's all stuff he'll bring back to Barry to see what he can put together. None of it reminds him of the stuff Barry has in the lab at the precinct, though, nor of anything that Caitlin has in the lab at STAR. So...that's a little disconcerting. The idea if souping up the laser gun is lost because he wouldn't even know where to begin with the equipment on this clearance level...
He and Stiles mostly spend the rest of their afternoon idling within a ten yard radius of Gabi and when it's time for her shift to end, Cisco couldn't be more relieved. He's starving and he's so ready for food.
...except she doesn't seem to be headed toward the mess hall at all. He opens his mouth to protest, but closes it again as he and Stiles follow her to a private subsector that is...apparently where she lives. What the hell, he's got a roommate and there's still three more beds in his room alone; Gabi's got a whole subsector to herself?! He exchanges a look with Stiles.
"Do either of you have any food allergies?" Gabi asks as she unlocks get suite and lets them all inside. Cisco can't help being awestruck. He...sort of assumed that everywhere in the complex was kind of a dump, but this place looks like a swanky loft on the upper east side of New York. Or, at least, whatever pop culture's representation of them would suggest.
He snaps out of it and looks over at her. "Oh, no. Not me, anyway."
Gabi looks at Stiles with eyebrows lifted in question. It's the least she can do for them behaving at her service firm and being generally pleasant when they're not being paid extra credits, to her knowledge, and they're essentially risking their lives for a stranger. She can make them dinner; real food. She knows they don't have access to it in RED, because she remembers those days.
