Shit. The look on her face makes him a little alarmed, and he's ready to let her know that it's okay if she confused him with someone else (really, he's horrible at dealing with girls that are upset with him, it's awful), but then she says his full name and Tony blinks. In confusion, in...something that he isn't even sure what it is.
"...no, I am Tony Stark. I just don't think I have met you."
There's a faint change in his tone as he finishes speaking, almost as if he's asking more than letting her know that they haven't met just yet. The way she's looking at him, though, is answer enough, and Tony's quest for coffee is completely forgotten.
"So, Lydia. You've...met me. When, exactly?"
Is this some sort of glitch, like he had been told upon waking up? Was that really a thing? Tony hadn't believed it, but now he's starting to wonder if he should reconsider his stance on the whole thing.
