People can be cruel, that he doesn't have to be told twice. This whole anti-mutant sentiment really does remind him of the Hunters back home, and here, they don't even have a code to hide behind.

At Cisco's look, Stiles hesitates a little, before saying: "If you have questions, you can ask. I'm not going to share specifics either." It doesn't matter that the people he's referring to aren't here, they're not his secrets to share. Even if that could make it easier to work with each other. That was always going hardest part of this: depending on each other to do their job. So far, Stiles has no clue what Cisco or Gabi are capable of, (her powers aside), and figuring that out on the fly is going to be as fun as bulling through a china shop. And that's on top of their own doubts.

Metahuman. It still is a loaded term, for all its inclusion of the word human, Gabi thinks. And it is better than referring to her abilities as mutant powers, or some vague term, not that she thinks there’s much of a mix up to be made between the three of them. “It's better than some of the other terms I've heard." She nods agreement, resigned towards working with them for the duration of their shift. "As for my own abilities, I'll tell you more if it's ever relevant," she says, nodding decisively. "Even if you have an idea of what it's like." She hopes she doesn’t have to do this all over again with whomever the Computer assigns her next - it wasn't as if she hadn't sat through hours of questioning along similar lines before she'd been released.

"That works for me, we won't have to be obvious about what we're talking about," Stiles says. It's still not as obscure as he would like, but if it's something they can all be comfortable with, he'll take it. "Oh, we can come up with a couple more signals too, stuff like 'we need to get out of here', or 'look to your right'." He hums a bit, before suggesting: "Hand signals, maybe?"

As they approach one of the taller buildings in the TechServ sector, Gabi pulls out her ME card, swiping it over the reader next to the main doors: a soft beep sounds, before they open to reveal a clinical foyer. "You're going to have to sign in at the desk." She points towards a small security booth near the elevators.
