Acknowledging Cisco's lead, Stiles falls in line on Gabi's other side, just a shade behind her. He's close enough that he can easily keep up with their conversation without having to talk too loudly, but not so much that they would end up tripping over each other. He's seen this sort of formation before, but usually, there's another couple of cops on standby at the sidelines. This, this depends entirely on the two of them posing as a deterrent, and being able to see trouble coming from far enough away to keep Gabi out of it. Still, it's the best they can make of the situation. They'll have to make do with each other.
"This will be better for now, we'll be able to keep up with you for sure this way," he directs the words to Gabi, though he's pretty sure he's just stating Cisco's intentions aloud. To be able to know where they're supposed to go, while sticking close enough so that they get a better sense of each other. It makes their job easier.
Gabi doesn't let up her pace, taking a measured breath while she takes a right to the side hall. She's calmer now, but borne of rigid control, rather than actual emotion. "I don't really like to talk about it," she starts, voice tight. It's why she'd kept her ability hidden for so long; adrenaline control wasn't exactly obvious if she's careful not to overdo things, and for a time, it was easy to pass off as coincidence. "But if you really need to know, it's a hormonal thing."
She sighs, looking at both of them to gauge their reactions. The fact that Cisco use to have mutant abilities makes her less wary, but the keyword there was had. He has it easy. "It works on other people."
Okay, which doesn't sound like the worst thing, in Stiles' opinion. Still, a hormone thing doesn't really clarify matters, and remind him of euphemisms of PMS. He knows that thought won't be appreciated, so he just nods, not letting her words phase him. "I knew others who had things. I thought it was pretty cool, even with everything else that happened because of it." He looks aside, watching some other BLUEs heading in the opposite direction, before directing his attention back to Gabi. "They were hated for thier things too."
