Cisco can't help noticing that Gabi doesn't look all that reassured by his and Stiles's presence. ...which gives Cisco an idea. He'll have to wait until she's decided she trusts them at least marginally so, but if he can talk her into taking them to some BLUE clearance areas in R&D, Cisco can probably really soup up their laser guns which would, obviously, be better for protecting her. He silently shelves the idea and makes a mental note to mention it to Stiles later.

He finally gets to the two of them, having picked up the pace when Gabi appeared to recognize their names. "Where do you want us? In front and behind; flanking either side...?"

She lifts her eyebrows. It's like they've never done this before. ...they're RED. They probably haven't. Gabi tries to keep from looking uncomfortable with their novice level of expertise — and that's using the word pretty loosely — and she starts walking off, assuming they'll be following.

"Whichever you think will work the best," she says and tries not to frown.

Cisco exchanges glances with Stiles and takes up Gabi's right side. He can't go in front because he has no idea where he's going.

He waits until they're in a quieter hallway before be speaks up conversationally. Get her to trust you, he reminds himself. "So, what can you do? What's your thing? I think one of my old clones was a mutant because I used to be able to like kind of read minds...ish...?"

That's a lie but also not a lie. There's more to the Vibes than that and he goes out of his way to use Alpha Complex context rather than saying that he used to be able to do it back home. "Unless you don't want to talk about it. That's cool, too," he tacks on a little belatedly to give her an easy out.
