What Ronan doesn't know is that Adam notices things, little things, like the way Ronan looks at him when he thinks Adam isn't paying attention, like the way their skin always glances off of each other when Ronan is beside him, like the way Ronan tries to be beside him. Adam notices these things. Adam knows that Ronan is attracted to him at the very least, although he can't begin to fathom why.

It's a good feeling, having that secret, knowing that someone like Ronan likes someone like him. Adam has never had an ego before, that was beaten out of him a long time ago. But the day he'd figured out why Ronan looks at him that way, why Ronan reacts to him in certain ways, an ego had started budding in him in those secret places where no one was ever allowed to look.

Adam is wanted, desired even, by Ronan Lynch.

What Adam could do with that, well, he's never wanted to toy with it in case he might mess it up. On top of that, he's confused about how he feels about it. Except for right now when it seems like the best most natural thing in the world. He wants to analyze those feelings, explore them and see why they're there and what they are up close and personal.

"I'm probably not a very good kisser." The minute the words are out of his mouth he's wondering why he said them. He wants Ronan to kiss him. "So I might need a lot of practice and very little judgement."
