"I have a feeling, we'll make a good team." Matt is smart. He was valedictorian in law school. He's not genius level smart, but he can definitely do some of the intellectual heavy lifting. He'll absolutely understand why she didn't tell him everything later. it's enough that she's telling him something.

His brows go up at that. "No, I can definitely see how that would be useful." He's thinking about that a moment, listening to her shift in bed. He's lying on his back, hands behind his head seemingly staring at the ceiling, his head is tilted just slightly toward her.

"And I bet yours aren't," he smiles a little as well. "The winters aren't so bad once you get used to them and since I grew up there, I've always been used to them."
