Dick's description of the room is a good one. It's thorough and it goes further to orient Matt than leading him to a free bed would. He listens, nodding a little and trying to commit it to memory; he tries to form a picture of the room in his mind before he takes a step, moving to stand a foot or so away from the end of one of the empty bunks.

"Am I at least warm?" he asks with a raised brow.

It's something Matt does as well in a different way, but without all of those senses he's a little blind (haha).
