When evening rolls around, Dick is to be found sitting on his bed, back carefully positioned to block the view of the camera while he does some more work on his own personal wrist computer, it's slow going to get all the parts he needs but he's making it work, bit by bit. The motherboard he managed to score on the free enterprise market is definitely a big help, but it's the rest of the circuitry he's still having trouble with.

At the sound of somebody entering, however, the half-finished computer is deftly disposed of beneath his pillow and he turns around, nice and casual, to see who it is - though he expects it to be Lydia, he can't be too careful.

When he sees who it is he's surprised, and realises almost immediately that he hadn't exactly needed to hide the evidence of his wrongdoing, not when said evidence is visual.

"...uh, hi," he says, wanting to let the guy know there was somebody else in here "...are you a new roommate?"
