It was shortly after dinner before Barry was able to finally seek out his friend. The mission to repair the reservoir had taken the majority of the day and had required both him and Adam, no matter how much he wanted to see Ray in one piece again for himself. That and their brief conversation over the network had been odd enough considering the circumstances, but for some reason had left him feeling as if something was odd.

He had eaten as quickly as it was possible to eat the food and then had headed to Ray's room, hoping to catch him alone. He knocked on the door and waited, sticking his hands in his pockets and looking up and down the hallway.
