But that's just an opinion, a logical deduction for why those natives might not like them without even knowing them. Still, he hadn't intended to be treasonous by it.

Adam glances around warily with the warning before looking back to Ray. He seems like he knows all about the price of saying the wrong thing in front of the wrong people.

When he speaks more quietly, Adam leans in. "I've heard a rumor that we're all clones. How can that even be possible?" Adam shakes his head, sitting upright again. "Have you been accused of treason before?"
