Maybe she should have been more forthcoming to Tony when they first met. He had seen how shell-shocked she had been after arriving. How difficult it had been to break her silence and speak. How much she desperately wanted the glitches to be false and that past life she remembered to be a lie. All of that is a lot of what she feels now. She had failed Prim and she had failed herself. But explaining that to anyone who isn't Derek still seems difficult.

If Tony had judged her back when she first arrived, he hasn't given any indication. Nor is he looking at her funny right now. What kind of strange person can't seem to enter a dining hall?

Her. Apparently.

"Maybe," she answers quietly, watching him closely. "I'm still thinking about it. Are you?"
