Steve isn’t quite sure why he’s decided to come to the Avengers HQ after work today. It almost feels like he’s returning to an old routine, though he doesn’t remember having one. That bothers him, but he can’t explain why he feels this way, and as he makes his way through the winding halls, Steve decides that maybe he’s just stressed from what’s been happening lately.

But it happens again. Another weird feeling as he scans himself in the front door. It’s like he expects to be carrying something, but instead, his arms just feel … empty.
