To say Adam has fighting skills is an overstatement, but that's okay. He knows how to throw a punch now and that's something more than Adam has ever done in his life. Translating what Ronan has taught him in the gym into a real time scenario is probably not so easy. Adam is ever a work in progress, even here, even now. In fact, when he sees the first impact of pipe to someone's head, he has a flashback of Robert Parrish yelling at him and fists flying in his direction.

It's that scream that snaps him out of the memory haze, and for that, Adam is thankful.
