The answer isn't what Prim wants to hear, honestly. Part of her was hoping that the gas that is released of an evening time would be helpful toward her sister's normally night terrors. Katniss is normally lucky, though she'd probably consider it to be the exact opposite. However, everything that her sister has gone through...of course it's stayed with her because she carries it all.

Prim can't quite help the look that she sends to her bigger sister, one of caring tinged with some worry. "I just thought with the gas..." The blonde shrugs, and still can't help the worry. She wishes there were something she could suggest, but knows that it isn't likely that she'll want any sort of medication to help. She just knows.

"You'd let me know if there were something I could do, right?" Prim asks, even though she's pretty sure that Katniss doesn't want her help. She doesn't want Prim to try and take care of her, or at least that's Prim's assumption. That's the conclusion that she comes to because her sister has never really asked for help from her.
