"It's a good idea, but I wouldn't suggest it yet." He'd suggested the first aid classes, at the same time he'd suggested the first response stations after the R&D bombing, but he'd been very careful to couch the suggestion in a way that the Computer would - with any form of sanity at the wheel - find beneficial to itself. Putting people back together after they've been hurt is something that helps the Computer - teaching people to punch other things is, for the most part, not. Sure, it would mean fewer people being hurt, probably fewer people visiting the medics, but it benefits the people and not the Computer. The more people know, the more independent they become. He can already feel a shift in the Alpha populace, not a huge one, but it's there nonetheless: the Specials, just being who they are, are inspiring both courage and horror. One day soon the entire house of cards is going to come crashing down.
He's long since been preparing for the day that happens.
The way Allison's gaze tracks and doesn't quite meet his own tells him that something's up with her, though not what. He won't immediately jump to the conclusion that she saw his life like he saw (what might be) hers, since it's also possible she knows he saw something, or she had another thing go sideways last night. With this place, there's always too many different options - and too many ways to be caught not being loyal to the thing keeping them prisoner here. Thankfully, he's got a way around that. "I was gonna go do a walkaround before packing it in for the night - wanna come with me, maybe talk about that class idea?" Among other things.
