"You can't," Lydia replies dismissively. "I don't care what anybody says, if all they had were documents, then there's no creating DNA from that. At least, now where I came from. I know they didn't keep any kind of documentation that would make it possible to clone a person, that's for sure."
She looks over at him again and her brow is creased. "My memories are clear as a bell. I was doubting them, a lot of them, because they're weird, but I feel like they're real, anyway. But they made me watch that stupid orientation for like three days straight and I started second-guessing myself. I've never done that before here. None of this makes sense. ...at least I'm not alone in feeling that way."
