A lot of the time, Katniss lacks that filter as well. She tends to act before she thinks, speak before she thinks. Oftentimes it seems that her decisions are met with regret. Yet Katniss can't help it. She still hasn't developed a filter. Maybe she never will.

So she can't exactly blame Buffy for having the same problem. Even if it is really tempting. Because Buffy's right; the kiss had been a good kiss. And that's the biggest problem, isn't it?

"That sounds smart," she mutters, not quite looking at Buffy while she talks. "I work with Derek."

Avoiding him won't be as easy as she wants it to be.
